This dual telephone jack is exactly what is needed to hardwire two landlines from the modem to the telephones. The quality is comparable to the former Western Electric Company’s 42A block that was used for the same purpose. A great find at a reasonable price.

So I both this so i could hook up an extension phone line to a fax machine in another room and still use the cordless phone by the jack. Unfortunately, it splits the inputs, but now both devices show another line in use and i need to unplug one of the to use the other.
