Knee High Ice Skating Socks (2 Pairs)

I bought these for two reasons. First- I had just bought some incredible figure skates, but trying to slip my foot inside with a regular sock was a total no-go. Second, green is my favorite color. I have been using these for weeks now, and I love them. The color is beautiful. They fit high enough that, once you lace up your boot, you can slip them down, all the way over the heel of your boot. I like that it'll protect my skates a bit. They are soft, comfortable and stretchy. The toe area can be a bit abrasive, so you have to make sure that you position them well before you lace up.

My daughter always has extra sock inside her skate bag, and her friends are constantly "borrowing" them. We ordered the red socks, and they are great in knowing which ones are yours and that they'll always get returned! However, the color bled inside her skates and the lining of her (very expensive Jackson skates) is red. We were looking to sell the skates, and they look terrible. We needed to order a new pair of skates anyway, but we won't make the mistake of ordering these colored socks since they bleed! Disappointing since they are so cute.

My son is a figure skater who has a style all his own. He loves “fun” socks that express personality. Other brands of skate socks come in boring beige or black. Color flow is the perfect solution for skaters who need thin, soft socks but still want to rock a pop of color.One large caveat: WASH THE RED ONES FIRST!!!! I almost had a heart attack when he took off his skates today and his feet looked like bloody, bruised messes. Thankfully a wet paper towel revealed it was dye and not horrific bruising. The inside of his boots are pink, too! The blue pair of Colorflow socks didn’t do this at all. A long soak in baking soda and water got his skin back to alabaster, so no harm no foul.

Very soft, not as thin as knee highs or trouser socks and are much smoother. They fit me (adult) and my 13 year old, and my 9 year old. Didn't seem to matter how big /little our feet are, they fit each of us, they did com up above my 9 year olds knee, up to my 13 year olds knee, and below my knee. Feels great in the skates. I saw some complaints about the seem, we are not having that issue at all. Can't feel the seem. I do agree with another post, would love to see more color options. 2pAir came in each packet.

My daughter will only use these socks in her figure skates. Two years ago, I ordered 2 sets, purple and aqua blue. They have worn extremely well! She has used them 3-4 times a week for 2 years and they are only just now getting holes in them. This time I order 3 sets, aqua blue, yellow and red. I would rate these socks 5 stars but I am deducting one star because the red ones bleed. Thankfully I read a review where someone else had the red color run and stain the skates, so I purchased these socks knowing this could happen. Who ever wrote that review, I thank you!! I have been soaking the red socks in a solution that is supposed to set the color. Who knows if it will work, but worth a try otherwise the red socks will go into the garbage.

These tights are pretty durable and my daughter likes them a lot. I’m always worried about getting a run or easily snagging them on something and we have yet to do that. They came with 2 pair and we currently only use one. We are saving the other pair as a back up. You are definitely paying for the quality. We use these for ice skating. My daughter is currently in Alpha 2 and not an advanced skater yet.

Like anything that is one size fits all, it simply doesn't. If your shoe size is the hosiery standard, adult size 5-9 this will be fine. Smaller than that, you will have to fold the top down keep them below the knee, larger than that, they are stretched thinner that desired. They are smaller and thinner overall than the Mondor Knee highs which are available in very limited colors.

My son is a figure skater and he loves these socks. We've bought several different colors. He likes that they aren't boring and says they are comfortable. The seam doesn't bother him. Other skaters frequently comment on his socks!
