StetsonGallatin Outdoor Hat

I've had this hat for a little while now and thought I already wrote a review but here goes again. After opening the box and seeing it in the paper it was packed in I realized I got a good deal so far. The hat was a little pushed around in the box, not a dedicated hat box. This mattered not all, the hat pushed right into shape and is a perfect fit on my head. The olive color is great, I really like the dark green on this. I like everything about this hat. The crown is easy to grab and pinch, the sides have a nice curve popular in the aussie styles now. I am not a cowboy, don't ride a horse, but this hat gets worn a lot now. Its a four season hat to me. Keeps the sun and rain out of my eyes and glasses. Michigan gets hot and muggy but this hat isn't too thick for warmer weather. Its nice to get a perfect fit, well made hat in the mail. The band is thin but classy looking. If I had to only have one cowboy hat, this would be my choice and I have a few. Even after a little while, and a more pricey purchase here and there, a nice new leather hat band later and this is still my natural go to. The cloth sweat band is always comfortable. The form stays perfect as well.

As a SoCal man living in the time of Covid I’ve begun to make regular hiking/camping trips into the wilderness East of the Los Angeles and the San Diego County areas. On these escapes I build up my immune system with generous doses of vitamin D but I’ve realized my need for adequate shade to protect myself from overexposure and sunburn.My father (a Midwest man and bald as I am) suggested there was only one name to go with in the hat biz and that was Stetson. This was my first foray into something along the lines of a cowboy hat and I tell you what... I really really like this hat. Sizing was precise, color/design perfect, and the feeling that it gives you... is by far the best part of this hat! When I wear this hat I look knowledgeable, rugged, confident, fun, and wise.If you’re looking for a hat to protect your dome piece from the sun this is that hat for you! If you want to feel more confident in the great outdoors this is the hat for you! If you want a connect to America’s historic past this is the hat for you!All in all this a great hat and you should experience it too!

Really nice quality. Purchased brown but the color looks a bit greenish in different light. Still happy with the purchase.

I do love the feel of this hat. It is very comfortable and shaped perfectly. I would give 5 stars but the picture is misleading of the color. I was expecting a grayish brown, but it is definitely a very dark greenish brown.

Beautiful hat, true Stetson quality and shape. The size was perfect and has just the right stiffness without being to stiff. Love this hat and get tons of compliments when I wear it.

Real nice dark olive colored hat with a great profile. Very comfortable and warm. Even my ex complemented my new hat! Not crazy about the band but that is my only complaint. Hat came in a dry cleaning type plastic bag inside of large box with a hat insert. Traveled well as packed. I have a 23 7/8" - 24 1/8" head and ordered an XXL and the hat fit like it was custom made.

Apart from the fact that, as expected, the sage hat is much darker in a shade of green, rather than the mushroomy earthy colour in the picture, the purchase was flawless. Shipped right away, excellent tracking, received quickly. Shipped in a proper hat box, wrapped, arrived in perfect condition and the medium fit my 22 1/2 in.,size 7 1/4 better than any other hat. Wore it right away with my dog in the yard at 1 degree C and it was perfect. Very happy, would not hesitate to shop at Rod’s Western Palace again, excellent.

Excelente calidad y buen precio

Mine was shipped from a warehouse in America to Japan, the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the shipment time was a little bit unreasonable. The hat itself is of wonderful quality and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their first stetson hat.
