DRI Duck Men's Motion

i got the XL in a tan / light brown color. it's a bit oversized, meaning you can llayer under it. there's no hemline cinch adjustment, and on my slimish frame, i can gather about 2 inches of fabric. this is both good and bad. the good: can easily layer a flannel, hoodie, sweatshirt or merino base layer underneath. the bad: open hem detracts from wind resistence. but this may not be suuch a bug deal in real life. the jacket extends about 2 inches below the waist. and is slimish and pliable. i have other softshells with adhustable hems/ cord locks. so i guess in heavy weather if i needed a cinched waist i could reach for one of those. but i kind of like the Dri Duck's utilitarian aesthetic. The shell and lining aren't too much on the heavy side which could make this more of a three season garment. You have room to layer while still keeping things light. overall perhaps not the most technical softshell, lacks a hem cinch cord. But well made and has a workwearish aesthetic.

I ordered an XL jacket that is a bit roomy when wearing a single layer, but the fit around the arms and shoulders is perfect and doesn't restrict movement. Feels warm and light. Looks good with jeans and tactical pants. The zipper has a nice protector at the top of the collar, too. I'm looking forward to trying this out when autumn gets here.

This coat is of very excellent quality. Wore it for the first time today. Very impressed. Not only kept me warm here in Michigan, but it looks great on me. I am 5'10 250 lbs. I have a 3x and it fits perfectly.

Very wind resistant. In chilly breezes that would cut right through my polar tech jackets, the wind kept off my torso. Also is quite water resistant, fine for a light drizzle or rain. Breathes very well, making it a good jacket that keeps your chest and back from getting saturated with sweat during a brisk walk or hard yard work. The only things about the jacket that are less ideal to my taste are the feel or the outer layer, which is a little smooth and plastic like. To be fair, this is what probably results in its excellent water repellent and windbreaking properties. It does yield a sort of stiff feel to the fabric. Also, the only design flaw from my standpoint is the quite tight fit of the sleeve at the wrist. There is elastic as well as Velcro to really snug up the fit at the wrists tight, but even with the Velcro completely loose, I found it hard to get my hands through the wrist hole putting the jacket on or taking it off. To wear and see my smart watch screen with the jacket on I had to raise the cuff above my Fitbit, or I would have had a struggle raising the sleeve to see the watch face and then lowering it over the watch again. This could be relieved by a button at the cuff.

Fits great. Warm enough to wear for 40 degree weather. I am a sales rep and constantly in and out of my car. This jacket is perfet, light weight and comfortable. No complaints whatsoever!

For the money, for a stylish, lightweight waterproof jacket, this cannot be beat. I received a Dri-Duck jacket previously as a gift, and sadly lost it. It was a more expensive type (circa 130 USD). I don't find that I needed all the features it had, and it was often far too warm for a light jacket. The 5350 does not have the bottom drawstring, and is missing a couple of the inside pockets my old Dri Duck had. However, it is a more appropriate weight for a light jacket, and still retains Velcro closures on the cuffs, a breast pocket with zipper, and zippered slash hand pockets. For the money saved, I do not miss the other features. The 5350 is an excellent replacement for that other jacket, and the seller shipped quickly and left a personal message inside the box, just in case I had any issues (I did not).

This is an excellent jacket. Very warm - can keep out the wind on a 25 degree day with just a shirt underneath. But it breathes well enough that its OK on a 50 degree day too. Excellent, roomy hood. The 3x fits as it should. Fabric is water resistant and very durable.

Well, what is there to say? It’s a little on the large size but that gives plenty of room for a thick jumper when it’s ‘really’ cold, it’s very well made, comfortable and windproof. Whether it’s waterproof or not I don’t know yet, but seeing as it’s made from a tight weave cloth, it probably is as the threads swell when they get wet, effectively locking out any further ingress. Overall I’m impressed, especially with the price and delivery time!

Let me start by saying that this is an amazing jacket, the quality of material and manufacturing are superb and the design is spot on. I only give this product 4 stars as it arrived with a small snag in the elastic part of the sleeve on the right arm..... This imperfection is to small for me to be bothered with an exchange (especially given the long delivery times on this item) but large enough to be an annoyance. Such a shame on what is otherwise an excellent product. I have already ordered an additional DRI-Duck Jacket in another style and would highly recommend them.

The jacket fits well, well made and very warm down to -20 deg C. Excellent price and easily comparable to other more expensive brands. I'm very happy with this jacket
