It’s safe to say that my last knife set was due for a sharpening or two. I forgot how sharp new knives are, so I’ve already cut myself quite a few times since Thanksgiving. They look and feel perfect.The cooking knives are very durable, but the steak knives are a little flimsy. They’re still super sharp, look great, and are good weight, just a little bit flimsy.These do state dishwasher safe, but it wouldn’t dare to put these in the dishwasher - not even the steak knives. Wash them by hand and be careful not to cut yourself. 😉

I am not a knife connoisseur. This is my first nice set of knives. I love them. Having the weight and sharpness of this set makes all the difference when cutting. I wish I had them sooner.

I like these knives they look like good quality. However three of the knifes in the set have grinder marks on the handles. You would think that the quality control would have caught this. I'm very disappointed and returning them for a different set. I'm hoping the next set I get will be much better. I will update you on the next set I get.

First, you might be wondering: Fake review? No, not fake review. I wish it was, honestly. I bought this set of knives for my wife for Mothers Day, because she'd wanted a nice set, and I thought it'd make her happy. As it turns out, she's happy, it's a terrible set, and I'm furious...and finally writing a review about it a year after purchase.I've never seen metal rust so quickly and easily. Never. If it rains for twenty minutes three counties over, these knives rust. Turn the kitchen sink on? These knives rust. If you get nostalgic one day, and a far distant memory makes you sad and you *think* about shedding a tear...rust. These "knives" see more WD-40 than soap at this point.Oh yeah, almost forgot - these knives are made of Play-Doh. This is apparent, because they chip so easily that even slicing a banana is a futile effort. Try that, and the end result will be a chipped knife, and a banana with an ego which stems from it going toe-to-toe with a knife and taking less damage than the blade. It's ridiculous.My wife used to be into the whole Pioneer Woman thing, up until the tiny bit of quality in that product went down the toilet due to the deal with Wal-Mart...and those cheaply priced, cheaply made knives are FAR better than this garbage from Henckels.If you buy these knives and wind up having no problems, than good for you. You got incredibly lucky, and you should stop reading this and head for the nearest casino with your life savings. Go. Go now. As for the rest of the population, go buy your knives somewhere else. This isn't even a case of "you get what you pay for."
