It’s beautiful
I’m 76 and recently fell and broke my ankle I could not find my phone to call for help. This watch knows when you fall and will call for help if you want it. You can also get your oxygen level and your heart rate an ekg all kinds of amazing thingsI can change the watch face whenever the mood hits me. There are numerous faces to choose from

The battery life is worse than Series 3 and the Red color isn't great
I was running the new WatchOS on my Series 3 until it crapped out in the shower and the Series 3 was getting better battery life than my Series 6 has been getting.I haven't noticed a single (non-cosmetic) improvement from the series 3- while it has ECG and Blood oxygen measurement they are difficult to use and not terribly accurate. The new WatchOS is great now that it finally measures your sleep (like the Fitbit) but the alarm function still fails to wake me up too often. Note the new WatchOS is available on Series 3 watches but can be a pain to install.I am disappointed with the red color; I thought it would look bold but it looks too feminine for my taste (the band is somewhat pink); I will probably end up gifting it to my mom for Xmas. There's nothing special about the new series of watches unless you think inconsistent blood oxygen measurements will be helpful (or you really want the Red/Blue color). I'll prob just grab a Fitbit Versa 2 or snag another Series 3 if they go on deep discount.

Good Watch That Uses Battery Pretty Quick
I love my Apple Watch. It fits good, and I like how I can change the width of it. In the morning, I have it on the third strap hole, and then later in the day, when my wrist slightly swells with the hot afternoon sun, I can put it on the fourth strap hole. This watch vibrates, and that is very helpful in reminding me of the time, but make sure that you charge it! The down side of the watch is that it's in need of charging about every other day and it seems to not hold a charge as well as my iPhone SE! I'm still working on how to lengthen the battery life by changing some settings. Also, for those that don't want something that is using Wifi and Bluetooth right next to their arm all day, you can turn off all of these in airplane mode. No EMFs were detectable by my EMF meter while in that mode.

Consistently inconsistent.
I really wanted to like this watch. Many do. However, after having it for several weeks (I've had it just over 30 days) and taking time to consider its performance, I started to notice irregularities. The most noticeable irregularity for me was in the "Hiking" App., as I do the same hike twice a day, every day (in that I'm in the snow, there is very little chance to deviate from my path---I travel a 1 ft. wide groove in the snow). At the hike's summit, the watch will provide various distances and elevations for the same distance and elevation of these repeated hikes. My starting point and where I check the summit's point are exactly the same on each hike. That being said, the distance the watch gives ranges between .71 and .88 miles---a lot variance for such a short distance (I had thought that the watch would use the GPS, but it seems to be more of an expensive pedometer and barometer). The elevation gain will be displayed between 380 to 440 ft.---again, always at the same points on the ground are being used (for the starting point & summit), which is why these metrics got my attention, and this started me looking at other watch functions. While the "Fitness" App. will display "Exercises" selections, something is going on that makes no sense. That is when I have been snowplowing with my side-by-side, or just driving it, it has attributed some of this drive-time (and at times, mileage) to the exercise time (Ring)---I promise that I didn't hit any buttons. Then there were a few times when the "Exercise" App. said that just a couple of minutes were needed to close the exercise ring so I did a walk. Imagine my surprise when I got back only to find that the App. now said that instead of completing the goal that I now needed to do an additional 17 minutes to close the ring---say what![So why do we chase these Rings and their colorful displays? What real meaning do they have, especially if the metrics might lack accuracy? Are we pry to "Classical Conditioning" {Pavlov's dogs}. To better understand our relationship with these rewards, their colors, the documentary/movie "Social Delima" lightly covers how humans respond to colors and other virtual rewards.]Sleep tracking was a metric that was of interest to me. In initially setting up the watch, I chose not to be disturbed, but when I woke in the night and wanted to use a watch feature, I was locked out, so this "do not disturb" feature got turned off. For every action, there is a reaction---or so we are told. In this case, there was the surprise of having the watch wake me with a vibration in the middle of the night---in that important sleep time---to tell me that I had been sitting too long and needed to stand. Really! Other strange reports were when I was awake---reading---and the data showed that I was asleep. Then there were points when I was asleep, and it reported me as awake.ECG was a feature of interest. I have a stand-alone ECG unit but having one with me all the time seemed like a good idea. I know these consumer units can be touchy, but the watch's ECG exceeded my ability to get any consistent, 'readable' outcome. The watch also reports that there is a download to better deal with Afib reports, but when I tried to download the update, it says that it won't work in my country (I'm in the US). I can only hope that others have better luck than I with this feature. As for "Blood O2," there are several who have noted this function's performance. For me, the watch seems to think that I have died. I have a stand-alone O2 sensor, and most of the time, the watch reads 6-7 points lower; however, there are times where the two agree (?). To try and get a better reading from the watch, I've moistened the skin, but this didn't result in any improvement.By this point, it must be obvious that I bought the watch for the health metrics. My personal opinion is that Apple needs to go back and try again (but that's just me). I am not one who sways to marketing's "perceived value" but rather viable metrics. Many love Apple and I agree they make pretty products, but I'm interested in consistent performance for my money. While some may love and accept the watch as an accurate tool, I find myself wanting to return it.BTW, I got great battery results.Road.

Use it more than I thought. Very easy to use
Been a fan of Apple for 10 years or so. Started with MBP's, iMac then phones. Don't wear jewelry other than wedding band and dog tags, so was never interested in watched.Well, getting older now and schit happens. I walk my dogs alone many times and if something were to happen, telling my watch what I need could save precious seconds/minutes.Its my first, but I was impressed with how loud and clear it is. My kids have had watches for years, first thing they did when they found out I got one was walkie-talkie me, lol. Works greatthe new and improved sleep tracker is better than others I've used before and the alarm is better, easier to wake up to as the watch taps for a few seconds before making noise that starts low and gets louder, instead of that Parris Island style blaring loud out the gate

Love It
The media could not be loaded. For some odd reason the 44mm battery life is so much better then the 40mm...I had ordered the 40mm and well it died so fast & I felt like it was really small. So I returned it and ordered the 44mm & im in love. Perfect size, battery life last about a day and a half...before I put it on charger it’s on 20% life. Full charge about half an he later and I’m ready to go. Love that it’s water resistant, easy to accept calls and or send texts when in water works wonders. Considering my aunt is sick I like to be available 24/7 and with the Apple Watch I literally can be...red and black are my favorite colors so the sports band was a must buy. It goes PERFECT with the product red Apple Watch ❤️🖤
