Decent Low End Gamer
I'd never heard of Avatar before checking into this, but seeing what the component list was with all the major brands sold me on giving it a try. With about a month of use out of it so far I'd have to say it meets my expectations.CPU: is a little meh, doesn't seem to take much to max it out, and the fan for it is loud when it revs up to full.GPU: Good for AMD. Still have the occasional graphics glitch thanks to the spottier AMD drivers but performance is good, am able to max settings on games I couldn't beforeEverything else: works as you'd expect. Not that I'd expect there to be many of these available going forward, but if you're on a low end budget this is a decent machine at a good price.

Great Machine for the Money....When it works
I purchased this computer at the end of October and it was a great machine when I started using it. The initial setup process was very easy, I was able to play games at a average to high quality graphics and the computer came without any bloatware. However, the computer started randomly shutting down a couple of weeks ago. I thought it may have been a one off issue at first, but the shutdowns are becoming more and more frequent. I contacted their customer service department. The reps were friendly and tried to give me some troubleshooting tips, which did not work. The fans are all running properly and the memory test on the RAM showed no errors, so there is a short somewhere. I also found out that I am responsible for shipping to their facility (they cover the cost of shipping back) since it is outside of Avatar's 30 day window, even though I purchased a defective device. The turnaround time is not specified in the RMA form, so I do not even have a estimate on when the unit will be returned. In summary, the computer is a great value when it works properly, but it may be worth paying extra for Alienware or another gaming PC. I've never had a computer with issues this soon after purchase and customer's should not be responsible for shipping costs unless the repair is their fault (spilled coffee, installing upgrades without updating power supply, etc).

Meh
for the first couple of months worked fine sure it sounded like I had an industrial fan sitting next to me but it worked. Then all that changed when the bluescreen attacked in force. Ironically only the avatar support could save me but when I needed them and it was still under warranty it came with stipulations. Sure send it over but first you have to fill out this form, pay to have it sent over to us and also pay to have it fixed all while still under warranty is that cool...... nah im good I'll just cut my losses and get an alienware and on another note anyone interested in a giant paperweight?Addendum: I forgot to at least say the good that came from it the graphics card is above what i expected a comp of this price range to even have sported.

Avatar Gaming PC Gaming FX77 Desktop (Black)
This computer has worked as advertised for almost a month. I wouldhave given it 5 stars,if the case had been a little heavier without awindow,Other wise I haven't any complaints. It's so quiet I really don't notice it running. It's about 50% faster than my 6 year old quad core 32 bit Pentium system onWarcraft. That's running a 1280x720 window with a. frame rate averaging about80per second. vs around 40 on my old machine.I will pass along anything else I notice in the future.

Great for Games
I can play Borderlands 2 on High settings. My brother also bought one and one of the parts were slightly out of place. He pushed it back in and it works fine. He can play Skyrim on high settings as well. I also suggest buying an extra fan and installing it. The only downside to getting this computer is the fact it comes with only one fan. If you are going to use it for a long period of time, in summer, or a long gaming session, i would definitely buy another fan. I bought the Antec-120 mm CPU cooling fan- blue from best buy. If you buy this fan, you may need to buy different screws because the screws are kinda loose but will hold the fan in place fine.

Great gaming pc
Nice built. My son plays his all games smoothly. We bought a monitor and wireless adapter and works well together. The position and the number of all USBs are convenient. The only worry is the machine heats up and could be bad in summer (We bought it last Christmas as a holiday gift).

Not working right out of the box
I have had the computer for 3 days and have yet to be able to get it to work without shutting down. I think I have it narrowed down to some sort of issue with the video card. I am unable to update the video card driver because the computer will not stay on long enough. I will post an update when I resolve the issue.--Update: Customer service at Avatar was very friendly. Am getting replacement... will see.
