JUST MY SIZEWomen's Short Sleeve Shirred V-Neck Tee

First, I got the 2X and it was too small. I'm 5'7", 210 lbs., usually 2X (18-20) in JMS. I got the teal, which is a very pretty color and not see-through. I did not need a cami. It was tight, though. I noticed that the teal didn't match my Tropical print jeggings I bought them for, so I exchanged for the Blue. I think they call it Impact Blue (?). It's a saturated turquoise, vibrant but not loud. I filled out the form requesting the exchange, and only after that did they mention there was an added fee (I paid about one and a half times what I did for the shirt, originally). I just completed the exchange, because I was worried that Amazon might not let me change my return options, as that has happened before. I might have done the exchange anyway, to make sure I got a color I can use, in my size. I would have liked to know there was an extra fee before choosing the option, though. The return came very promptly, and I am happy that the color matches my pants perfectly, this time. The mismatch was my mistake, but the sizing was the reason for the return. I would have kept the pretty Teal, if it fit, but the blue is nice too. The shirt is still not the relaxed fit I expect from Just My Size, not even a full size up, in 3X. I wonder how 4X would have fit. I'm keeping this one but am afraid to machine dry it. If it shrinks at all, it will be too small. I usually wear either 1X if size runs 16-18, or 2X if it's 18-20. I haven't worn a 3X since I lost 40 pounds. I bought 2 JMS tanks, a long sleeved tee, and 3 hoodies that fit perfectly, in the past 2 months. I also bought the long-sleeved plum top and a tunic in 3X, after returning a long-sleeved tee that was too small in pink and just right, in white (those fit best in 3X, also). The company was very kind and refunded my money (and also for one of two tank tops, which was too large). So, overall, I am not unhappy with the customer service. I just wish I could still be more confident in ordering. I didn't reorder those two items, because I didn't know what size would fit. If the prices remain low and the products are still quality, vibrant colors and flattering, I will keep ordering the Comfort hoodies, jogging pants, and tops with the shirred or gathered necklines. I love the long length tops, and I hope they continue to offer a variety of pastel and bright colors. I will consider the other products, too, and try anything they make once. This shirt has a flattering neckline and is just long enough to cover my bottom and hips. I love the shirred top, but I wish it had a defined waist. I think it would look better with a slightly longer and softer hemline, maybe with ruching at the lower sides. For the original price, it's a comfortable tee in a pretty color, feminine details, and a little nicer fabric. I could wear it to work, with a sweater or shawl. I like wearing it out, tucked into my full pleated skirt, or over jeans or jeggings at home. I hope Just My Size will become consistent in their sizing again. I really love that they offer some layaway options. Please, JMS, do not charge for exchanges when the problem is not the customer's error. I always measure and read the size chart, as well as read reviews. On the positive side, I appreciate that colors besides Fuchsia, crayon Purple, Turquoise, Black, and White are available! I can almost pick out the Just My Size shirts people wear in public, in those colors! Lately, I have been pleased to order Light Pink and Briny Pink, and I hope I get tops in Teal, Mint, and Salty Purple soon! This is actually my favorite turquoise JMS top (I own about 4). It’s a lighter shade than the ones I got in previous years, which goes great with my wardrobe and complexion!

I love this casual top so much! It is pretty and feminine while still being understated and simple. It feels like your favorite old t-shirt from day one! The cut is great, not clingy. The fabric is soft, breathable, and lightweight without being see through so I stay cool! It washes very well. I came back and ordered more.

Go up a size shrinks when washed

I bought this shirt too tie dye. It looks great and is a great quality, but unfortunately seems a bit small for the size. I bought it to be a bit roomy and it was actually quite snug. Unfortunately I waited to long to return...

I wanted a white tee to wear with a skirt and light weight jacket that could beat the heat and humidity of summer. This somewhat sheer light-weight cotton tee fit the bill. I liked the gathered collar and flattering way it showed form while still fitting loosely. It does fall longer than I wanted down to mid-thigh rather than just past my hips, but to get those comfortable stretching short sleeves for my larger arms was nice. Good price so I would buy again.

I've ordered several tops from this brand in the past and they were very hit or miss. This is the first short sleeve tee I've purchased that I actually LOVE. I ordered a size larger than usual knowing from experience that the shirt will shrink in the dryer. Right now it is a bit baggy but after laundering will be perfect. The cut is quite nice and designed for a woman's shape. The fabric is thicker than I expected, yet light, and seems durable. And this tee is long enough for my long torso too, even after it shrinks. I bought 2 in black and wish I'd ordered 5 as the price went up about $5 per shirt the next day. When it drops again I'll definitely buy more. I will update my review as I wash and wear these tees. For now, I'm happy with these shirts and would recommend them - but go up a size unless you plan to never use a dryer. These were good value at $13 each. But at close to $18, I'd take a pass.UPDATE: I just washed and dried these tees on normal cold water and dry settings along with my other cotton tees. Nope! These will not do. The shirts shrank about a size and a half, which I expected, but the material has become thicker and now has zero stretch. I could live with that part maybe, but these shirts managed to attract every single piece of lint and fur from my other tees in the dryer and came out wrinkled, while the others (including the black ones) came out lint-free and without any wrinkles. I am so disappointed. This is the same experience I had with this brand's crew neck short-sleeve tee. The one with long sleeves is great, but I have not yet managed to find a decent short-sleeve tee from JMS that is long enough in the torso. I suppose if you wash these separately from everything else and hang them to dry they might stay in better shape. But a cotton tee should not need that much time and care. I do not recommend this shirt and would not buy it again. It is not good quality and is overpriced.
