Thank goodness this doesn't smell. Our pipe tends to clog frequently if we don't maintain it. It works but we have to use it several days in a row.

Did not work as well as what I purchased directly from Roto-ruter.

I used this product for the upstairs bathroom bathtub. I had a very slow drain. I didn’t follow instructions. I used the product at full strength. It’s a bio product non-corrosive to pipes. For the first couple of times I used it a week apart, then I used it 2 weeks apart. Then 3 weeks apart. And now I use it every month. This is very important, you have to give the product at least 3 months before it works effectively. It develops a film on the inside of the pipe which controls future occurrences of slow drains. So anyone who expects this product to work overnight, no way, that’s not the way bio products work. I had a problem drain and this product solved the problem.Very important. Do not pour acid in any drain in the house. It will not only deteriorate any piping material, but also the drain stack. I made the mistake of using acid in my kitchen drain and over a period of 20 years it rotted the pipe and also the drain stack for the house. Try replacing the drain stack, it isn’t cheap.

First, keep in mind this product is NOT an acid-based drain cleaner for clearing plugged drains.Rather it is a drain plug up preventative consisting of enzymes that naturally eat soap scum and food particles clinging to your drainpipe walls without dangerous corrosives and smell of typical drain cleaners.Follow the directions on the bottle by adding some of this buildup remover once a month to keep your drains pipes clean and draining like when they were new.Highly recommend as a drain plug preventative.
