Olive oil for haute cuisine
A very small amount of what is obviously a high-end extra virgin olive oil. Used it quite sparingly for a definite unique flavor. As the old ad goes, "a little dab'll do you."Always wanted to try highest quality virgin olive oil. Now i have. Not for those on a budget, and there are some other "true" virgin olive oils available at more reasonable cost. Best for those with a champagne budget as well as champaign taste.

Not as good a vintage as 2010
Very good, but lacking compared to the supperior 2010/2011 vintage. Slighlty harsh with an unpleasant bitter finish. Still good, with a nice peppery taste on the back of the tongue, and plenty of grassy flavors, but they're overwhelmed by bitterness. So don't expect a repeat of the previous years superlative effort. All in all, not worth the high price tag of $47. Go with the Pianogrillo.

A waste of great oil if used for cooking
Bold and peppery. A delicious. Tuscan oil great for dipping bread or even as a salad dressing.

A little decidence!
I used this olive oil in a special slow cooked sauce I made for my boyfriends birthday. A little went a long way with flavor and combined with other high quality Italian imported tomato products, this was a perfect addition to the arsenal of authentic ingredients!

Great Tuscan oil
Very high-quality oil. It's a little expensive, but I love Tuscany and the oil so much. It's also so flexible that I use it almost every day, so I get to enjoy it often =)
