The Badge It was such a wonderful gift for us to get our granddaughter for her 6th birthday!!! Once she was shown how to use it she was off and running!!!! She made all types of badges with her uncle and daddy! I bought the refill with it right away and have since bought two more refills so she could make more badges. She has used the pictures supplied with the badge it and she has drawn her own pictures, one other thing she has used was photo pictures!!!! ! I would highly recommend this badge it!!!!!

After seeing how much the "badge-a-minute" sets cost, I went with this one.The overall quality is good and simple, but the actual "pin" is a snap-on piece rather than being built into the back of the pin.

Bought this toy for a friend's daughter as a birthday gift, she was very happy with it.

Quick, easy, and fun. Although, the pins fall out from the back easily, so I recommend gluing the backs.

Omigosh! I bought this for my daughter and it works wonderfully. Professional quality badges. All her friends are asking her to make badges for them now. This is a high quality product.

We thoroughly enjoyed this toy and it creates buttons that are nearly professional looking. The only drawback is the refills. The machine comes with the supplies for 15 buttons which we went through pretty quickly. The refill kits are expensive and only make about thirty buttons. So far I have been unable to find other button materials that are compatible with this toy.

Very good machine to make small buttons. My daughter is a pro at making badges for my students and she is only 6yrs old.Arrive promptly and in excellent condition.

My daughter loves this badge maker. It is easy to use and you can use your own images as well as the one provided.

Bought this for my son to play with after he came out of hospital. We wasted the first badge because we didn't separate the 2 pieces of the badge. We soon got the hang of it though and it's very straight forward once you get going. Great results and my son has spent ages looking up & printing images of his favourite things to turn into badges. Age 12 - loves it!

The gadget itself works great, just very hard to find refills now since they have been out of production for a while. Sometimes you can get lucky on Ebay or here on Amazon though so hunt around and you might find some! Had a few failed attempts at making some badges, but that was down to my own fault in not ensuring the plastic covering was in place properly. Works great for children and for professional looking badges.

Was completely disappointed to find this item arrived broken. The seller had obviously used it, broken it and thought if they packaged it up well enough that I wouldn’t notice. I noticed when it didn’t make any badges though!! A component is broken that means it can’t push down far enough so the machine is defective. Only found this out after a few hours of research and testing. Real shame. I imagine it was used too enthusiastically and the part snapped off, so must be quite easy to do. I’m disappointed!

can be hard for kids to twist all the way sometimes and the badges it makes won't last very long compared to bought ones. The backs are plastic and the front tends to pop off from the back making them easy to lose. However you get what you pay for and it's really cool to be able to make your own badges for such a cheap price.

I had a great image on a 't' shirt, and managed to get an image I could use for other graphics. I suddenly thought 'wouldn't that look good on a button badge.I looked at various systems which would be fine if I was going to go commercial, but it's just one of those small time things.This system looked fine and the reviews were generally good. 'What the h***.'I bought some spare sets at the same time too.Well, it's great. You get a very professional looking result. I've made some badges for people at work, and am planning to take the system on holiday for my niece and son, so they can have something to do.It takes a bit of care, but a very good result is possible.I made a template on Word to do some pretty snazzy graphics and you really wouldn't know. I might get round to doing some punky copies of badges I would have liked as a teen.Really good stuff.

Bought this for my daughters 11th birthday. Tried it a few times together although we did have to re-read the instructions a couple of times. My daughter then used it by herself whilst I wasn't with her and it has jammed with the badge part somewhere in the machine. Tried to unscrew it all and take the piece out but have had no luck taking it apart. Such as shame as she would have loved making many badges and designing her own. I'm sure lots of people have had no trouble with it but pointing out that it may not be ideal for children to use on their own. Can't remember the age that it is suitable for - it probably says somewhere on the box but kids will be kids and try it themselves! Only had use of it for a few days.

Bit fiddly until you work out the correct order to place the components in the machine (and the right way up!) - otherwise you end up going through a lot of the transparent discs, which the machine likes to eat!However, once we had cracked it (badge no.3 or 4 I think) we made a range of badges, using both the images provided and some of our own with both magazines and our own drawings (use the discs inside as a template). Excellent fun, and we've made some lovely badges.

My 8 year old daughter loves this product. But she could have used all the badges in one sitting if I hadn't mentioned the fact to her. You can easily buy more on Amazon though.Would say that the instructions could be a little tricky for younger than 8 so would recommend an adult to supervise a few times before leaving them to do it themselves.Badges are really good quality when they are correctly made. Haven't tried the personalised image yet but there is a handy guide to cut and size the image to.It could all come in a smaller box! but that is nit picky. Would recommend this product.

This was bought for my daughter who is 3 and she enjoyed using this product, I had to help her with the process but it is pretty simple for an older child.You pretty much have to buy the refill pack as well as this as everything you need is not quite included here like the plastic coating for the badge finish.We made some good quality badges for my daughter from the images included in the refill pack and also some decent ones for me after I printed out little pics of the Smiths, Velvet Underground and the Sex Pistols!Overall, I would say I would recommend this for a child's present.

Bought for my son for christmas, hes 9 and loves art. He can not turn his artwork into a badge to put on his school bag. It is extremely easy to use, sturdy and fun too. I would have loved this to come in a larger sized badge option, maybe there's one on the market that I've not seen yet. Overall though, my son loves it, he has made badges to put in his brothers birthday card, happy with purchase and price

Ok so now every member of my family has at least three badges, which we are emotionally obliged to sport at every opportunity in my daughters presence. In short, she loves this badge maker, its very simple to use and about as safe as you can make it considering the prickly nature of said badges. If you have a child of 5+, get it. it's cool.

I am an adult and bought this to play with. It is so much fun and a fraction of the cost of the professional button presses.I was worried it wasn't sturdy enough to start with, but this has proven not to be a problem as it can handle a fair bit of force !

Great product, very easy to use and seems to be well made, even though it's plastic.. Came with only 15 potential badges, but spare badge kits can be bought too, I got an additional 30 pack. This one's a sure-fire winner for the price, for making one-of-a-kind original badges within seconds. Not just for kids!

Bought this for my son for his 10th birthday together with an extra badge kit. I must say I'm really pleased with it and so is my son. He had all his friends on his birthday making badges and printing off extra pictures from the internet to make his own unique badges. Once we followed the instructions fully, it was easy for them to do on their own. Don't rush it and your badges will come out fine! Now my daughter wants one for Christmas. Would recommend.

Good for children, my son loves it and I even made some badges myself to sell at a craft fair but the pins are quite stiff and I did hurt myself on them quite a few times. I do rate it though, and if you have your own designs even better!
