S 810 SUB Black NA (Renewed)

I am for sure going to buy another one of these. It sounds great, looks great, and can’t tell it’s renewed!

Multiple problems with this subwoofer. 1) Item does not work at all - no sound - tried with multiple sources in place of other working subwoofers. 2) Grill is broken, missing one of the four tabs to connect it to cabinet. 3) Wooden cabinet is chipped multiple places. 4) No rubber feet included. 5) This was second try with this seller - first try took a month before they realized it had not shipped.Will try to purchase new item instead.

Being renewed, there was a little bit of damage to the bottom left corner of the cabinet on the Subwoofer face. It is almost unnoticeable with the grille off, and not visible at all with the grille on. I use this sub to reinforce the bass of my Q Acoustics 3050 Towers in my Livingroom. I don't run a lowpass on my amp and let the 3050s play down to their roll-off point around 40hz. I set the S810 to crossover around 60hz.I run it at such a low volume that, coupled with the placement, you might not even notice that there is a Sub in the room. It is situated in the corner of the room with a wooden table partially obscuring it. Most people that visit never even notice it's there. If you are looking for a lifestyle sub that is able to put out a good punch down to around 30ish hz, go for this. The finish looks good from around 5ft away and it can blend with many modern designs. My wife was totally happy with me putting it in the corner. It just blends in!Only real downside for me was fine tuning it. All controls are on the bottom and where it was placed made it difficult to fine tune it when I was setting it up. Make sure to get a right-angle RCA if you plan to set it farther away than the 6.5ft cable it comes with.

So I have purchased three of these over the course of about a year and I can tell you they work like a champ. I think they’re fantastic.

Looks fine and does what it's supposed to do. Happy with the purchase but it doesn't rock my world.

Not sure how often this happens with "renewed" speakers / subwoofers, but so far the gamble has not paid off well for me, sadly. Merry christmas I guess.Details:I unboxed the unit - some minor scuffs but nothing warranting much concern due to the discount. Generally it looked really nice. All original cables were included and it seemed "newish" enough to satisfy. I plugged it into power and got a power LED. Then plugged it into an audio source and got.... absolutely nothing. No audio response at all. Tried a different RCA cable, same. Tried a different audio source, same. I'm forced to conclude the unit was returned for (most likely) being DOA in the first place, and the refurbishers made sure to pack it nicely, and maybe even make sure it powers on, but didn't actually test it.The bright side: the return process has been fairly painless so far.

They provide depth and bass but it does get muddy. Hard to criticize at this price but if you want something more audiophile get another sub. If you just need something for TV or movies it works

Es bonito estéticamente hablando, buena calidad de materiales y mas grande de lo esperado. A pesar de ser reacondicionado venia en perfectas condiciones esteticas, el unico pero es que la funcion de "encendido/apagado automático" no me funcionaba pero al final lo justificó el precio y la calidad de sonido.El unico punto en contra es que el panel de control viene en la parte de abajo entonces si no compras el cable adecuado puede chocar con el piso y tendras que hacerle un escalon como en mi caso, incluye un cable que sirve bien (es sencillo y "barato") sin embargo yo le quise conectar uno de mucho mejor calidad y del largo necesario para mantener la calidad del sonido.
