Cipon Wireless Adapter Compatible with Xbox One Controller/Windows 10/8.1/8/7 - Upgraded Version

I bought this because while I could hook up the controller via the Bluetooth on my motherboard, that caused noticeable latency that made playing games terrible. This adapter doesn't have that issue, everything is snappy.Build quality is good, it has an LED for when a controller is on, and I have had no connection issues. The small size is nice if you're plugging it into the back of your PC, it's not going to block any adjacent ports.Note that Windows did not automatically download drivers for this. I had to download the driver for the official USB adapter and apply it. It's a minor annoyance for the price savings and it comes with instructions walking you through it. Once the driver is installed you're good to go.

I have Turtle Beach Wireless Stealth 600 for my Xbox and wanted to see if this item will support it on my PC. It sure did. I plugged it in and the device recognized it but I had to wait for like a minute because my Windows 10 updated the drivers twice. Once for the device and then the 2nd time for the driver. This was all automatic and I didn't have to do anything. The sound quality was the same on my PC as it was on my Xbox. I was surprised because my PC also have Bluetooth and I use regular wireless headphones sometimes. Quality was better with this device and a compatible Bluetooth gaming headset.

I ordered this to hook up my Wireless XBOX controller to my Windows 10 PC. I installed the adapter and wasn't able to sync up but based on the information that came with it, immediately expected it was driver related as I had not done any pre-work to install or acquire a driver. I checked Device Manager and yes, it showed there was a problem with the driver. Windows did not automatically install a driver. However, I right clicked on the device and selected to install a driver, let windows search for one and a few seconds later it was installed and I was able to sync with no problems. Played a few games, no issues so far so this is a great alternative after a day of use. Hopefully it will continue to work! Thanks!

I'm not sure if mine was defective or they all come like this, but the fit was so tight that it was difficult to plug in to USB. I was able to wriggle it in eventually though, and connect my controller using the pairing button on top. I plugged it in to a usb extender after I realized how tight the fit was. It works.*UPDATED*The seller reached out to me regarding my review and offered to replace the adapter at no cost to me. The new adapter works great and plugs in and out easily. Thank you!

There is a known "bug" with this product. They even have a paper in the box explaining the drivers needed to make it work. I downloaded 3 different options from this site and none worked, on a brand new gaming pc. Don't waste your time or money on this item. Its worth waiting for the actual Xbox adapter.

Plug it in to your PC, and it just works. I didn't have to install any drivers. It's small and sleek compared to the Microsoft version, and a lot cheaper. The link button is at the END of the device, just push it in and you'll see the small LED flash, then press the sync button on your controller, wait like 5 seconds, and you're good to go.

I have this paired with a Microsoft Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 and it works flawlessly on my PC. When I query the controller it auto connects to the receiver and when the controller sleep the receiver sleeps as well. It's small and slender and worth every penny. Good buy from Cipon

This works very well but did take some effort to set up with the correct driver from microsoft and configuring it so the computer would not power it down. Good instructions for finding the right driver update. Can't fault the hardware, it works pretty well.
