VTech Switch & Go Spinosaurus Stunt Car

I am so impressed by this toy!! It has so many features such as a searchlight (flashlight), a trigger to pull that makes the helicopter blades spin along with a sound like helicopter blades! Can’t describe easily. Also has a grappling hook that launches from the helicopter/dino. It took me awhile to figure out how to launch it. It is perfect for my 3 year old grandson. And I really enjoy it too. It’s my favorite toy. It took a few times before he could transform the helicopter into a dinosaur, but then he got it. Just challenging enough, really. There are do many features I watched a YouTube video over and over to find all the features. I bought 2 other vtech dino cars because I was so impressed with this one. But this one is still my favorite. These are like tranformer toys but with sounds and loaded with cool features. Also there is an LED display screen that’s fun.

This was an instant hit for a dino loving toddler. He was able to play with it straight out of the packaging. It is easy and unfussy to transform and requires no assemble, with the batteries already installed. It has been durable so far and held up to continuously rough play for 4+ months, and even an unexpected dip in the bath. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good affordable gift for a dino/car loving kiddo.

Summary: These are the transformer toys I wish I had had as a kid. I waited a few months to write this review. We bought three of these for my son for Christmas 2021 and these are by far the winning gifts. We got the red spinosaurus stunt car, the blue triceratops bulldozer, and the velociraptor helicopter. All three impress me with the level and quality of the features. Their construction is solid. Transformations are easy. The LED screen automatically switches between dinosaur face and driver. They have buttons to activate some noises, which change in the different modes. And then some activate with movement -- the moment the dinosaurs started making stomping noises as my son was moving them around was magical. The helicopter has a trigger at the base of the tail to spin the rotors and the hook launcher, both of which are triggered to make appropriate noises.

This really is an awesome toy! My 4yr old child loves playing with it and showing it off. It is easy to transition for velociraptor to helicopter. My child learned how to after one demonstration. It is durable and held up to rough play. Thinking about surprising him with the other options as gifts for upcoming holidays.

This transforming t-rex is well-made, and durable. I like that the transformation from car to t-rex is simple, and promotes motor skills. I also like the interactive buttons that make different sounds & phrases depending on which mode the toy is in. This keeps my son interested for a longer period of time. There is a switch that controls the volume, which is a huge plus. Would by this product again.

I ordered this and another one for my grandson who loves dinosaurs and plays with his baby sister and helps her with imaginary fun. They share this and her tea party and it brings me such joy. It appears to be good and sturdy but come Christmas will tell all

The product works just fine, although I feel that quality of parts could have been a bit better. The delivery was prompt…. Arrived before tentative delivery schedule so that additional star for that. Product rating is 3
