Screws directly into wood
Looks amazing on our sliding closet door. We needed some type of handle, but due to very little clearance our options were limited. Feels sturdy and like it will last many years. My only issue is the discoloration inside of the handle, shown in the last picture. However, few would notice, and doesn't effect functionality of the peice at all.

Wonderful surprise just how heavy and heavy duty these are. They’re easy to install and will last a lifetime. String recommend.

As Expected
Super easy install. Screws were perfect size for my door too. Love that it doesn't require an inset. The pull is smooth but fingers grip easily. The inset on the handle is shallow, but again not problem with being able to open it. My sliding door was glide smoothly so the inset might be too shallow if you need to put a bit of muscle behind sliding the door. Super pleased with how it looks and functions.

This is heavy duty, big and 100% exactly what I wanted. Matches our new barn door hardware perfectly.

Nice
Fast install, looks great, seems to be very solid after a few months of use. Thick enough to grip, thin enough to slide by the door frame if needed. Pair with a hook latch if, like me, your dog immediately figured out how to open the sliding door and won’t leave you alone when you’re in the bathroom.
