Not ideal for all vegetable but does protect the hand when grating.

When I first viewed these I thought - marvellous idea, genius! - as was sick of risking grating fingers.However I grate alot of cheese, and I have found these absolutely destroy the block of cheese being grated into crumbs, so ended up disappointing and pointless for cheese (dogs won out of scraps though). Havent tried it on anything else yet, but is an absolute no-no for cheese from me sorry.

Grips just about any produce well.Keeps your fingers away from the shredder.

This obscure little device saved the skin on my knuckles. I use my grater almost every day and I was constantly scraping my skin trying to use up the cheese or vegetable or whatever I was grating. Now I can hold the food item very securely (it provides a strong grip) and use up the food item down to the last 1/4 inch or less with full injury protection. This device is strong and sturdy, doesn't rust, and is easy to store (I hang it right on my box grater.) I bought knife gloves at the same time I bought this and I like this so well I've never even tried the knife gloves.

Good grip on carrots, protect fingers when grating them. Nice !

This allows you to get much closer to the grater. It won't get everything, but it does stop you from cutting up you knuckles. My only downside is the price. I think it is a little high, for what really it is. It is just a clip with spikes on the inside. To me, that should be cheaper price!

It is of good quality material and strong enough to stand up to use.
