I made the mistake of not conditioning my foam clay. It stuck in the mold but I just waited a minute or two, took another piece of clay that was conditioned and rubbed it across the embedded clay and it came right out. Make sure that your clay is not too sticky and you will be rewarded with beautiful clay butterflies. I brush some chameleon powder over the top of the butterflies and they come out lovely.

Very fine detail, removing clay or fondant may be difficult without cornstarch maybe. Plaster breaks and pipettes will be necessary for resin

I thought I might use this with paper clay but discovered that it's just too flimsy, delicate and soft. It's very shallow but I may try it with resin, if I do, I'll update my review.It is a very pretty mold, I just wish it was sturdier.

Nice set, easy to use,clean and has nice detail

Don’t buy these, as you can see they are so poorly made that you can’t use these as molds. Some are fine but honestly these are trash.

I love these silicone molds. They are so easy to use and clean up. I highly recommend these for beginners or more experienced people, you won’t regret buying them.

Good product nice looking molds.

These were non usable for me. I wanted to make resin earrings from them but they are not level and the resin ran to the middle and overflowed and nothing was left on the outer part of the wings. When I took a close look at the mold it is not even. Wings sit much higher than the center of the mold making it impossible to get a good butterfly. They flew their way back for a refund.
