Bakuman。, Vol. 4: Phone Call and The Night Before

This is an excellent series! It has a great story and impressive art work. It's the kind of story that inspires the reader to work hard and be diligent about their goals.

This is a great series. If you love manga it’s a must-read.

Another great read and continuation of the story. It really starts picking up and getting more involved in the struggles and victories of the main duo. The story also expands to include a wonderful cast of other manga creators and their interaction with the main characters. A great read, if you've enjoyed the previous volumes (and even if you haven't) you'll definitely enjoy this one as well

Great manga

Bakuman volume 4 contains chapters 26 to 34.It is rated T for teen due to "suggestive themes".Bakuman is about 2 boys, Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi, who dream of becoming professional manga creators. Mashiro is in charge of the art and Takagi writes the story. Together the duo call themselves Muto Ashirogi. Mashiro promised his girlfriend, Miho Azuki, that when both his dream and her dream of becoming a voice actress come true, they will get married.In volume 4, The duo split up and decide to start their own manga, they both get help from their editor, Akira Hattori, but he notices that they are both thinking the same thing so he comes up with a plan to get them back together.Also, a couple more manga artists arrive on the scene. Ko Aoki, a young woman with different views from Muto Ashirogi. She teams up with Takuro Nakai. And Koji Makaino aka the musician Koogy. He wants to be serialised just so that he will become even more popular. Fukada is not happy about this at all so he calls his team together and they storm into Shueisha.Will any of them be able to get serialised?If you are new to Bakuman, start from volume 1 or else you won't understand anything that is happening.An eventful volume with a lot more funny expressions by the characters. The new characters are really interesting.If you enjoyed the previous volumes then you will love this one!

My 15 year old son has the first 3 of these books and loves reading and rereading them!

I have watched the T.V show of this and loved it.The books have a better feel that the T.V show and the art work in the books are one of the best i have ever seen
