These books focus heavily on history but have intertwined Christianity into the stories. They are quite similar to the Magic Tree House series. My five year old loves them and stays interested, often begging for one more chapter. I enjoy that they have a Christian tone while also giving some historical information. I do edit these books as I am reading as some content seems dark for a five year old, in my opinion. However, the recommended age is 6 and up for most of the titles. So I expected I would have to edit certain things, such as death threats from the Khan military. There’s often only a small part I will edit in the book. It has not been anything major. I still recommend these books, even if you’re reading them to a 5 year old! Review: Good series - My son loves this series! It was a great introduction to chapter books.

Fun books
Great books to introduce kids to chapter books and that have great young Christian characters. And great for introducing history lessons and Christian concepts to kids

My brother adores them!
I bought this set of books and am giving my niece and nephew each one per birthday/Christmas, so that takes care of the next year and a half 😂. My little brother adores these so I am excited for them to read the adventures!

Imagination Station Series
I enjoyed these stories as a child and am loving reading the books with my children. It is hard to find edifying chapter books. I love how these books help instill important Christian principles throughout the excitement and suspense of the stories.

Fun, clean
Easy readers. We are considering using these for summer Wednesday children’s church. Clean books, Christ focused. Easy read. Our goal is to help reading comprehension in the kids because reading skills seemed to go down over Covid.

Love them
My 8 year old daughter loves these books. We read a chapter every night together and I have to admit, I’m enjoying them with her.

We just finished the 1st book and I’m glad we took a chance and bought the set as it was a big hit! It reminds us very much of the Magic Treehouse books but with a Christian twist. The first book was an adventure with vikings. We all learned so much about Erik the Red and Leif Erikson. Just the right amount of suspense without being too scary. This was read to four children ages 4-11 and they all enjoyed it.

My 8 year old son needs to do reading every night as part of a school program. It was always a struggle to find something that held his attention as he preferred books with some pictures to entice him. I'm also selective as to what books I find appropriate to read. I came across these and thought I would give them a try. The first book, he read a couple chapters in one sitting, the next, he read the book in two sittings. For the third, fourth and fifth books, he read each in one sitting! I was amazed! He says that he loves learning about the history and how a little bit of the story carries to the next one so that he wants to find out what happens. Love that these are clean books that have captured the interest of my hard to please son!

Our son loves these books and had them read within less than two weeks. We have purchased more of the imagination station series.

i've tried for years to find a book series that would make my (now) 11 year old daughter actually want to read a book. this series hooked her, and now i have to actually ask her to stop reading and get some sleep at night! while i love that these are books with historical & clean content, what i'm celebrating right now is that they're actually ENJOYABLE to read!
