Revivogen MD Scalp Therapy

I've been using this for almost a year. If it is working, it's working very gradually. It is oily and does have a scent that some people may not like. Because of these two issues, it was not possible for me to apply it, style my hair as usual, and then leave the house.Although it is oily it also seemed to dry my scalp and cause itching. I chose this because it is supposed to cause slight hair growth (according to hairlosstalk.com) but without the chemicals of Rogaine. I prefer the feel of Rogaine, as it's not oily and unscented. I feel like I've given the Revivogen a fair chance, so I'd like to compare and try the Rogaine for a year.

I haven't seen very much of an apparent effect that the solution has had. It has helped reduce some of the scalp itching that I have had, but I have not seen that much effect on the hair loss.

I've been using Revivogen for years. It really works. The combination of shampoo, conditioner and hair loss solution formula make your hair thicker and looking full and good. I would be bald like my dad by now if it wasn't for reviviogen

I have used it for a while (more thank 9 months) and haven't noticed any difference. It has started itching my head so I stopped using it.

I'm satisfied that it works but it requires perseverance - like 6 months +. It's oily and smells weird but I think it's a reasonable substitute for finasteride and comes with absolutely no side effects. Finasteride gave me pretty serious side effects unfortunately. Revivogen can be combined with minoxidil - I use minoxidil foam in the morning and Revivogen at night. It has stabilised my hair loss and my hair looks generally healthier. Hoping for further improvements. It might be worth noting that I keep my Revivogen in the fridge once opened as it contains fatty acids that are susceptible to oxidation. If you try this product, shake well before each application. if used alone, expect stabilisation of hair loss and if you're lucky, some minor regrowth and thickening. This won't regrow a ton of hair but then again, neither will finasteride for the vast majority of people.

So, I've been using this product on and off for a few years now (after trying 'Propecia' and 'Regaine' - side effects for me weren't worth it), but never really committed to using Revivogen every evening. For the past 4-5 months I have done, as I had a few bottles left from a previous order. They say it's 3 month supply, but it depends on the extent, of course, of your application. After some initial reasonable shedding (this can be normal apparently), I've now noticed an increase in the thickness of my hair overall, and I now have some regaining of hair on the front, temple areas (which Propecia and Regaine do not promise). That's why I'm currently giving 4 stars at present, as these things require commitment and further assessment over a longer period, but there seems to be something positive going on, for sure. And I use this in conjuction with Nizoral shampoo twice a week, which is also known to contain a harmless DHT inhibitor.

I used this stuff for over 2 years back a few years ago and it DOES work. It kept my hair all the way I used it. I was finding it very expensive though so at some stage I decided to only use it every other day (as they actually advise to after a year of use) instead of every day and that's when I started losing my hair again. Am after getting a hair transplant now as it seems to be a cheaper option long term and as well as that your hair loss WILL get to a stage when it won't be manageable with any supplements or topical solutions anymore. This is just the reality. If this stuff was cheaper, I would go back to using it as I think it's worth it. But then again, if it was cheaper, would it be as good. This is a lab level stuff and it has to be expensive to work.

Does not work - it's a con

this product is not packaged as in the picture, its all in arabic and hence no english instructions. I have the original revivogen which I got direct and there are key differences.. makes me question the integrity of this product.
