Very cute curtains. They are light in color and not super colorful, which was perfect for my daughters room! They block out a lot of sun and make the room very dark. Great material and love the star cutouts!

First off, my daughter is a unicorn princess lover and she chose these curtains. They definitely do bring a beautiful little girl touch to her neutral room. However, I don't think these should qualify as "blackout". They're more like "room darkening". It's good enough, but not quite as dark as I would like. I was wary because they are light colored though, so I kind of expected this level of coverage. The lighter pic is a pic of mid-day, naptime. Her previous blackout curtains were much much darker.Luckily, it doesn't seem to bug my daughter! The dark picture is at night, you can see the adorable light coming through the star cut outs.The options to tie the sheer part are very cute. They arrived with a tulle tie and a rope. We used the tulle tie. It gives it a very nice, finished look. Also, how cute are those star cut outs? I was worried they would let in too much light, but they are just adorable and the sheer netting diffuses the light in an adorable way.I like the scalloped edges. These hang very well, I did steam them after opening but it didn't make much of a difference as they already looked very nice.All in all, we are happy customers over here. I would prefer higher light coverage, but the benefits definitely outweigh that negative.

The media could not be loaded. I am SO GLAD I returned the last set of “darkening” curtains I bought here on Amazon and went with these. SO GLAD! These do a wonderful job of darkening her room in the daytime, and I’m sure will help with keeping the summer heat out. The star cutouts are very pretty. I’ve always wanted star cutout curtains for my daughter. These stars are bigger than I imagined, but they’re beautiful in their own right. The tulle isn’t cheap and straight edge cut like the last curtains I bought. Another difference is although the last curtains said “darkening” and “blackout,” they did nothing to darken at all! These do, and even better?! They’re far more lightweight!! Less strain on my weak walls! They have this beautiful trim on the edges, as does the curtain itself. The curtain came well packaged, as opposed to my last order, as well! Inside a plastic zippered bag, all folded neatly. They came with two tie-back ropes and two tulle bows which can be safety-pinned wherever. I stuck the bows where the tie-backs are. Being nicely folded, they came far less wrinkled than the last curtains. I will still want to get ahold of a steamer to iron out those wrinkles. This won’t be our finished product; I’ll update my review photos with our finishing touches once they arrive from Amazon this evening. My daughter slept through me putting these up quietly, and I know she will be so excited for her “princess curtains!”

I absolutely love this!!! It looks so good in my daughter’s nursery! I would buy this again in a heartbeat!
