Solaration Crackle Glass Globe Solar Lawn Light, 3.5" Dia (3 Pack)

We bought these through Amazon after coming across a similar set at a fire-sale price at a Ross store and liking them. They appear to use the same solar cells, but the Amazon globes are larger. The lights themselves work great. Even with periods of overcast and slight rain, these globes will last all night. Sure, the light is considerably diminished by dawn's early light but it's still surprisingly fun/satisfying to watch them glow and change colors. Don't have fireflies in your area? Here's an alternative.Can't give total glowing praise, however. The plastic rods are very fragile on all these lights -- as I learned the hard way when I was taking a photo of friends and family on the patio and backed into one, snapping it like a twig. Another deficiency is that unlike the set we bought at the brick-and-mortar store, the rods of the "Solar Wholesale" lights don't incorporate solid points at the bottom. These lights from Amazon have separate slip-on plastic "arrowheads" which will remain buried in the ground the first time you pull up the lights to move the lights for maximum sun or mowing the lawn. The makers should mold the bottom rod with the arrow tip incorporated in the design.

I purchased three packs for a total of 9 of these globe solar lights. Packaging was great. I put them together and so far 1 is not working and they aren’t super bright. I have put them outside so they can get a better charge, but now it’s cloudy. So I am patiently waiting to see how they will do when the sun comes back. Will update soon.So we have had some sun and all but one works. They are still not super bright but will do the trick. Upgrading to 3 stars as I have had better solar globe light but paid a bit more. Will be contacting the company for a replacement on the one that doesn’t work.Update-of the nine solar lights I purchase just one didn’t work. I contacted the seller through amazon and they sent me three news ones very quickly. Upgrading to four stars. Thank you!!

I purchased these in May because I have many other sets in the back & front yards. These were in my front yard. Although I have cameras on my house, the thief didn't care, because on camera, he actually went to much extreme to steal them in the front garden, avoiding the sensor lights on the house and hiding his face when walking around the garden to take each one. The lights are that nice..& bright! Although I'm upset about the lights being gone, I'm more upset that someone actually hopped my front wall to avoid the lights coming on and was on my property while I was sleeping at 3:12 AM. I really enjoy these lights and will buy them again....probably next year; since I take them down at the end of the summer to keep them from the harsh winter elements. I highly recommend them for people that are interested! Beware of thieves that apparently may need them more than you or me! I've never had anything stolen from my property in the 10 years I've lived in my house! :-(

These solar lawn lights arrived two days after I ordered them and in perfect shape - all parts were there and no broken globes. There isn't anything to putting them together, just the stakes on the globes and pull the protective plastic off the little solar panels and they are ready to go. We live on property that is heavily forested and not much sun-light gets through the trees so I didn't know how much these would work. I was/am so pleasantly surprised that apparently enough sun-light shines on the solar panels to run the globes at night. They are just beautiful and when they change colours it's even more beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased with these globes and I'm certain you will like them too. To me, they look as though fairies are dancing in my garden at night and it's so calming and enjoyable. I did order two sets to make a nice showing and I am not disappointed.

I purchased these lights June 2019. They worked wonderfully and I really like them. I stored them in a dry basement over the winter, took them outside, charged solar panel, and two out of the three failed to light up. I checked the batteries and they are fully charged. So there is an issue with the internal switch or bulb. I contacted the company because they advertise a one year warranty. Received a text message from China asking for $7 to ship 'replacement parts' which I agreed upon. Then rec'd another text message trying to confirm the product and acting like they were unsure if I had purchased from them. This was after I sent the order number (twice) and a screenshot of the order/picture of the product. I have contacted paypal to get a refund on the shipping and have vowed never to buy solar lights again unless they are cheap cheap cheap because they are basically one summer use (if lucky). I hope that an American company will manufacture these lights because I would pay more if the quality was good.

I have had this type of Solar light in my backyard for over 5 years now. I have had to replace because the neck usually breaks from sun damage and dryness. I enjoy the changing of the colors and have found that Amazon is one of the few places that I can still find this type of light. It is a good price for what you get. It doesn't last forever but I got a good return on what I paid for.

easy assembly, attractive when lit or unlit. Would prefer white lite only, not a multicolored display.

These lights are both beautiful and economical. The lights have brightened up my backyard making it look like a georgous fairyland. I live in Arizona and the sun here very quickly charges these lights to full capacity. They change from blue then to green then to red and finally to clear. The quality is far superior to others I have purchased and I feel they will be a super addition to my outdoor decorating for a long time to come. I would highy recommend the lights to any one looking for a solar lights that work beautifully.
