Freemasonry Invisible Cult Paperback – August 1, 2001

While most expose's of FM focus on the upper degrees, Jack Harris takes you to the foundation and core of the Cult. My only negative critic deals with the title of the work. "the invisible Cult" , while entirely true, sets up a defensive idea in the mind. I will give this work to those in my Church who are involved, but I truly wish the title was a little less combative...This does not in any way detract from the great job Mr. Harris has done. Every Mason should read this work.

I am a Christian who holds to the five fundamentals of the faith. I am grieved and disappointed that this kind of misinterpretation is taking place among Bible-believing Christians. After reading a few titles along this same line, I see a correlation between believers who insist upon taking everything literally and anti-Masonic rhetoric. Freemasonry is full of allegories and symbolism, a point this author refuses to acknowledge. There is also an absence here of acknowledging that Freemasonry operates on general, not special, revelation.If you're looking for a good, sound critique of Freemasonry, this one isn't it. Freemasonry isn't perfect by any means, but it also isn't occultic. I recommend "Born in Blood" by Robinson or "The Meaning of Masonry" by Wilmhurst as much more reputable titles.

My review will not show as a verified purchase because I did not purchase it from Amazon. I read the book many years ago and I found that Mr. Harris' book agreed with other exposes on Freemasonry. There are many one star reviews about this book but you must realize those reviews are written by people who are still Freemasons. That means they're still under deception and self-deception. Ask any other cult member in any other major cult whether or not they agree with an expose written by a former member and of course they will tell you what a terrible expose it was. The same pattern of research can be seen over and over by a multiplicity of authors that the author of the Scottish Rite degrees, Albert Pike, was a Luciferian, a "theology" which is diabolically counter-Biblical. The inherent nature of deception is that one does not know when they are being deceived. Therefore, there are many people in cults, Freemasonry included, who find it necessary to defend their organization based on their utterly deluded biases. Beyond that there has been testimony by other former members of Freemasonry that members must swear oaths, unto the death or under penalty of death, that they will lie deliberately in order to defend their organization. Whether or not a member takes these oaths seriously is completely beside the point when one studies the Bible concerning what Jesus said about not making oaths. I thought the author's point of view as a former Freemason was well worth the reading and I am glad that I read it all those years ago.

Jack Harris is so off the mark as religion nor politics is ever discussed in lodge out of respect for brothers from different religions (Christians, Jews, Buddhas, Muslims etc etc or political affiliation.)Furthermore you must believe in God to be accepted and there is never no mention of Christ. Because as stated we did not want to offends Jewish or Muslim members.

Not a bad expose' on the occultic and un-biblical inner workings of freemasonry. Not the most exciting writer on earth, but Mr. Harris does a good job of exposing and documenting the actual FACTS undergirding the deception of freemasonry. Any Christian would do well to get the actual documentation rather than the heresay ... Harris provides lots of it here.
