Overboard

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, what more could you want. I've seen this movie so many times I think I could recite the script from memory. It's the movie I watch when I'm a little down and NEED a boost, and it's never failed.Wonderful casting and acting from all those involved, this comedy delivers on many different levels. It's one of those feel good movies that leaves me with a smile every time.This is NOT a serious movie in any regard, it's full of silly bits and lots of fun, so if that's what you're after, then you're in luck. Highly recommended.

I was feeling a bit nostalgic and had a Goldie Hawn marathon day. I used to watch Overboard as a kid, and love watching it every couple of years. I think this is one of her best movies. Pair it with Death Becomes Her and First Wives Club, and you’ve just got yourself set up for a great afternoon.

Whenever I see this movie I have to watch it. So funny and I love Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell together. Classic

Along with Under Siege and Gladiator, this film is on TV all the time. The film is 2 films: the 1st half is quirky funny and a bit spicy. Ms Hawn is no longer a go-go comedienne from the 60's but looks remarkable. She hams it up as a socialite with everything but love. She falls out of that world [literally, as in overboard] and into a tough making ends meet world. The humor is absolutely standard fare for any Hollywood comedy. Kurt Russell co-stars but the dark comedies he's known for [Escape from New York, et al.] are totally absent here. So, if you like Goldie [I do] then get this; elsewise, just keep looking...

It came in good condition and is a good cute movie! I don’t think it’s a kids movie but a cute movie for adults!

The story is hilarious with a unique storyline. Goldie and Kurt together are magic. However, I wish more reviewers would make note of language and skin showing so some of us don't have to buy it and then not show to our children. With all the children in the movie, it still doesn't make it for children to watch. Foul language (so unnecessary) and Goldie's outfits are so scant at times, it looks like she has nothing on. These two factor ruined it for me.
