This is a legit replica. It is solid, metal and weighs a lot. My husband is a big WoW nerd and he was super excited when he got this.

I got this for my son for his birthday and he loves it. I'm not going to ding the product a star over this but I will mention the screws that came with the bracket to hold it on the backing were totally the wrong ones. I reached out to the seller and they are supposed to send me the right ones.The axe itself is made really well and looks great. Very heavy! It comes with a small "shield" to mount it to the wall. I'm sure once we get the correct screws it is going to look great.

Mine came without a mounting base. However, the seller refunded a portion of the cost and with that, I was able to purchase a replacement mounting base on eBay. It came in 3 pieces that screw together. At first, the pieces didn’t want to come together, but after a little lubricant, it screwed together perfectly. The handle is wrapped with leather cord with a leather fringe at the top and the base. Nothing rattles, it’s fairly solid and HEAVY. Compared to other weapons I own, it is the heaviest. I’ve seen some bad reviews here but you have to keep in mind that this is a replica, and for being a replica, it is very well made.

Ordered this to go along with my husbands Frostmourne replica to complete the set. Despite the pictures showing black/dark leather wrapping and runes, they are brown. Axe is heavy and very detailed. The mount is on the back of the styrofoam the axe comes in, almost missed it! The mounting screws arent very sufficient, used different, beefier and longer screws and made sure to hit at least one stud when hanging. The plaque it comes with has the Horde symbol, not sure why but still a nice display plaque.

Beautiful axe, however does not come with the wall mount shield. The box indicates the shield should be inside, but it wasn't. With the weight of this, you want to use a mount to hang it. Since this doesn't come with one, you have to build it yourself. The box wasn't sealed shut, neither was the replacement we received. Both boxes missing the display plaque.

I thought the Lich king sword was so incredible, but this battle ax is incredibly stunning incredible price incredible craftsmanship I wish I could afford a dozen of these!! I can’t say enough on how perfect everything is and believe me, this thing is heavy! So sad satisfied with this purchase!! Semper Fi Gunny G

The leather tassels are covered in glue and styrofoam, the plaque is damaged. Shipping box was not.
