This is a good prop for what I needed. It can't be confused with a real machete, but it doesn't look cheap or overly hokie.

First off, this is a plastic toy/costume prop so don’t expect a realistic weight or metal feel. That being said, it’s an awesome replica for Jason’s machete! It’s blade is heavier than the hilt so it weighs properly in your hand. It has the appearance of a sharpened edge and it looks great when being wielded! Very sturdy in that the blade doesn’t flop around or bend! It won’t poke a hole in you but it does hurt if you get whacked with it, lol!Definitely worth the super low price!

For those of you looking for a machete for some Friday the 13th or Halloween cosplay, this is a good machete. At first glance it's blows all the other plastic machetes out of the water. The paint is good. Steel imitation blade and a brown plastic handle. It's beveled edge gives it a good realistic look. It is noticeably longer than the cheap plastic ones at Walmart or Spirit store, about 20 inches in length.Cons - Had a very minor paint mess up. Hardly worth mentioning but it is there. It's plastic so don't be disappointed when you can't go swinging it around and it to stay firm. It has a little give around where the blade and handle meets. And it's hollow so be gentle.All in all I would highly suggest it for cosplayer on a budget. And would buy again

With a fresh coat of paint this product can look pretty awesome! Great base for my Jason Voorhees Cosplay.

It was just what I was looking for. Dressed as Jason Voorhees to take my grandkids trick or treating and it looked great.

Realistic Machete Knife PropWas a good Machete prop for the price. Much bigger than expected which was nice to go with my body type. I had read some reviews about the handle splitting. Upon receiving I could see how this would happen. The handle is a bit more stiff than the rest of the prop and could easily separate at the seems just from normal pressure from gripping it. So before even painting I wrapped the handle up in Gorilla Tape. I will attach a picture with it in use, after applying a little paint.EDIT: One minor con, The Made in Chine stamp is on the blade part but painted black instead of silver to make the blade. No big deal for me since I was painting but still, should of not been black.
