Great job with this knife, like always they’re built to last.
Always loved these knives for sharp blades and great handles, you can get better but it will cost you.

This is a left-handed knife
This is a left-handed knife. It's not in the description. I bought the same knife with a serrated cutting edge some years back. This one has a straight cutting edge. The liner lock is built to be disengaged by the user's left thumb The liner lock is extremely stiff. The opening and closing of the knife is very stiff. Not a fidgety knife by any means. 5 stars because it is a good knife. Easy to sharpen. It won't survive a torture test but it will open letters, boxes, etc. Comes with the Victorinox tweezer and toothpick.

Super solid EDC !
Victorinox delivers again . This is a super neat EDC knife from this brand . They have very few knives with the “pocket clip” option from their line up so I had to check it out , there is also a clipless version .Out of the box the knife is razor sharp of course and is comprised of their signature steel . It will easily take an edge and stay sharp for quite some time . As of course is tradition the knife comes with signature tweezer and pick , as pictured which is a nice addition. What I like about it is the feel in your hand and the spyderco style thumb hole is great . Definitely going in my carry rotation . The blade and handle size is appropriate and comfortable . If you are a collector of knives you will want one of these for sure .The only bad thing is the lock mechanism, its pretty unique compared to anything I’ve owned before . It’s a classic liner lock but the thumb press to unlock it very tight and on the opposite side. I’m not sure if this was purposeful or not . It’s not a huge downer but it certainly makes the knife a two handed closer , there is no way around it. So if you’re looking for something you’re going to flick open every five minutes for your job this not the carry for you . This is best suited for casual carry , out and about, or hiking / camping .

Knife
The knife is of good quality, and lightweight. It comes sharp out of the box. The locking mechanism is very tight and a fair amount of skill is required to close the knife. It opens very smoothly. My only complaint is with the scales on the pocket knife. The scales are very smooth and the knife slips when wet. I am going to dimple the scales so they hold better in my hand. The knife was inexpensive. I don’t know how it will hold up with repeated use. I liked the larger blade and it was the main reason for trying out this particular knife.

Knock me over with a feather...
Knock me over with a feather. For years, I resisted getting a 115 mm SAK, because I thought the only one I would want would be the One-Handed Trekker with a non-serrated blade... and those are hard to find.I found one, and loved it, and then I went on a 115 mm kick. Forester, Soldier, etc.Knock me over with a feather. I had always thought that there is no point to the Sentinel... since the one-handed lock-blade is the most contested, most populated genre of knives... and I have plenty.I was wrong...The Vic Sentinel is, basically, the perfect knife. It does a bang-up up job of imitating a Gentleman's Folder in your pocket, and then when you open it, it is a totally competent bushcraft/wilderness knife... blade same as your hand, greate for for camp chores, great for fire prep, great for food prep.I have $10,000 worth of knives (or I did before I sold a lot of them). This is the knife I reach fore each morning.(The steel is soft, but I can bring it back to razor sharp in 20 seconds each morning, on the crock sticks. It's like brushing my teeth.)

I really like the blade size at about 3
I really like the blade size at about 3.25in straight blade (its also available as a full serrated blade) Handle size about 4.25in. This knife seems very well built. There is no blade play and the lock is very solid. I love that they incorporated the tweezers and toothpick in the handle. The scales seem a little slick but I'm hoping as the knife gets some use they will roughen up a bit. I also wish the knife blade came to more of a point but its not that big of a deal. Its also a little stiff to open but again i think it will get easier after time. The only weird thing is the lock release is on the left side and that a little weird to get used to but still not a deal breaker. The blade did come razor sharp out of the box and the whole kinfe has a real classy look to it. I wish Victorinox would offer more knives that were single blade with belt clip. At this price point you wont be sorry you bought it.Pros:Lock BladePocket clipOne hand openingTooth Pick and TweezersRazor sharp out of the boxGood priceCons:Stiff to open (i'm sure will loosen over time)Wish is had a better knife pointHandle is a little slick

So Far, So Good
This is an unboxing review. First off , this one comes without a clip and that's fine with me. I believe the one with the clip raises the cost of this knife by a few dollars. Looks like it is well put together. It's not a small knife....about 4.5 inches closed....blade about 3inches of cutting edge. The knife does not have a heavy or bulky feel. The handle has a good feel in my medium - sized hands. The blade comes sharp enough to satisfy me. The knife has a liner lock.....has a nice snap upon opening. Don't let me leave out the tweezers and toothpick in the knife handle. I have to get used to unlocking the knife blade by pushing it to the right.
