The table surface board is not true wood
After some accidental rain exposure a peeled off table surface corner reveals MDF board covered by wood veneer.

Adorable
Cutest little table for this corner nook for my grandson! He colored on it the first day and the Mark’s washed right off with a washcloth. It was easy to assemble and is great quality. I’ve gotten lots of compliments on it.
