This book helps me understand what type of worship and worship setting gives me the fullest depth of spiritual understanding. It also helps me understand that how others worship God may vary as long as it is in line with Scripture. Very interesting (and effective) ideas!

It is so inclusive, embracing the diversity of God's people and our connections to Him. I feel affirmed in the ways I best connect with God and am looking forward to stretching myself to connect with God in ways that are less joyful for me. This book is great for individuals and groups. It mentions great practical ways to connect with God in each temperament. Every believer should read it!

My small group studied this book about a year ago. Just last week, a member held the book up in ZOOM and used it to support what we were studying. I don't know if this book is life-changing but it definitely contributes to understanding and tolerance. There are different roads to faith and different ways to express that faith and they are equally deserving of respect.

I highly recommend this book for those looking for diversity of thought and approach to our multifaceted God! He meets us where we are, in our changes and seasons, and we can embrace Him there. That's what this book taught me.
