A UNIQUE TREASURE
I found Dr. David Jeremiah’s Large Print Edition to be the high quality I’ve come to expect from Dr. Jeremiah’s pen and from his pulpit. This edition is perfect for my aging eyes. It is heavy, but I hold it in my lap, no problem there. And while the pages are thin, they are easy to turn separately, and the smaller notes at the bottom of each page are still easy-to-read. Unique is the included access to online resources that can be reached by computer, tablet or smart phone. The extensive Concordance is a great help, as well. I am thankful that Dr. Jeremiah published a Large Print Edition. It is a treasure that enables me to keep developing my personal relationship with the Lord until I meet Him face-to-face.

Very Approachable and Enjoyable to Read Study Bible
I have toted around an ESV Study Bible for years, and while I love it I have struggled to really get into it. The notes are outstanding and there's a lot of historical context, but it just comes across as scholarly and above the level of all but the most dedicated students. I selected the Jeremiah Study Bible (ESV) for personal reading and study after doing a good bit of research on ESV-based study bibles. I was looking for a resource that was approachable, easy to read and still would take me on a deeper dive into Bible study. I found what I was looking for in this Bible and am very pleased with it.Dr. David Jeremiah is a respected pastor and Bible teacher, known for excellent expository teaching that is approachable and accessible. That style shows through in his study notes. As I read the notes attached to different verses, I get the feeling of sitting in a Sunday school classroom, whereas my other Bible reads more like a college textbook at times. The writing is clean and straightforward, easy to understand and relevant. There are a number of extra study aids included that go beyond the verse notes. These include smaller sections, with "Tough Questions", "Picture This" and other types of content to draw in the reader. There are also some full-page "Essentials" content that gives the reader some important insight into what the Bible is actually saying in context to the time (an example would be the significance of different sacrifices in the Old Testament) as well as why something is especially important.I finally have a Study Bible that is on my level and that I actually enjoy studying. I find myself focusing more and learning more as I read. The binding on this particular volume is a dark blue, almost waxy-feeling leather, that is somewhat resistant to scuff and abrasions though it does get temporary marks when it is laid down on something - I inadvertently laid it down on my desk with a power cord across the desk, and when I picked up the Bible it had an impression of the cord on the cover but it faded out after a short time. The pages' edges are silver instead of gold. The text is printed on the typical razor-thin paper used in a lot of Bibles. The page edges provided a little exercise for me. Many of the pages were stuck together because of the silver coating, and on the day I received this Bible I spent about two hours separating all of the pages. This was a tedious process but time well spent, as not turning the pages during reading is a non-event instead of taking my attention away just to separate two pages that are stuck together. This is the Study Bible I have been looking for. It is easier to read than many others I have tried but it isn't watered down and elementary either. The study notes are easy to understand and don't shy away from some of the more difficult questions that often arise. If you're looking for a good, solid study Bible that you'll actually enjoy reading and studying, this is an excellent one.

Lovely study Bible with great explanatory and doctrinal notes
Lovely bible. The large print is a very large (meaning long, not thick) study bible. I didn't expect that. I rather it be thicker than longer but that's just me. The leather is very soft to the touch. I wish he offered this is King James Version, as that's my favorite translation. Agree very much with Dr. Jeremiah's doctrinal lessons on the rapture, the Church and Israel being separate entities when it comes to the rapture and tribulation, etc. I like that he allows readers to entertain that Gen 6 "sons of God" refer to fallen angelic beings and the mixing with human women, etc. Well worth the $50-60 price tag here.

Large, Quality Bible
Excellent, soft, faux leather cover. Large print is clear and easy to read. Study notes are great and helpful for understanding what you're reading. It's a little larger than I pictured, but understandable with the large print. Dr Jeremiah is a great Bible teacher and pastor and I know this is going to be a great study Bible.

Fantastic study Bible - Best I've ever used!
I was searching for a study Bible in the ESV translation, as I wanted to switch from a more "interpretive translation" to a word-for-word translation (which the ESV is), however, this Bible is offered in a number of translations.I wanted very much to find a Bible in a study format, as I'm often reading my Bible, and come up with questions like, "what does this mean?" or, "how does this relate to another passage?", causing me to look things up on my cell phone, which easily becomes a chase down a rabbit hole for me, as I have a wandering attention span and am easily distracted by pop-ups, etc., on my phone. The next thing I know, I'm reading national news rather than the Bible questions I was trying to answer.I was already familiar with David Jerimiah's teaching, but was really drawn in when I saw the easy to understand style in which this Bible tackles really tough questions, includes charts and maps, a concordance, study helps, and contextual explanations in the notes with each chapter of the Bible, helping me to grasp a fuller picture of God's word, versus my previous study style, which has included "Read through the Bible in a Year" (a very admirable goal, but for me, became, at times, a chore rather than a joy, as I tried to digest too much reading in one sitting rather than focusing on small parts, in greater depth), numerous devotionals (again, excellent additional reading but a complement to the Bible rather than a satisfying personal Bible study), and other study efforts. The "contextual" notes are notes with each chapter that refer to other passages that are relative to the referenced verses, and help to connect the dots across timelines/prophets/Old Testament and New Testament, noting things that were occurring historically and elsewhere in the world when the passage was written. For me, a Christian for many years, this version has made the Bible come alive in a completely new way and I look forward to reading it every day - just as I have wanted my Bible study to be!Dr. Jeremiah's language and style are perfect for both newer and more mature believers. He's not stodgy, legalistic, or condescending to those of us with less theological knowledge. I've had many versions of the Bible over the years, and many study guides/aids, but this is by far the best that I've ever found. I hope you'll try it and find the same to be true for yourself.
