This costume is great! I ordered it for my 4.5 year old daughter in small, and it fit perfectly. It is very well made. The material is good quality, and the zipper is solid. I had several people ask me if I had made the costume myself (I am nowhere near capable!). We got lots of compliments on it at every party we attended! It was cold on Halloween night, so she wore thick black tights and a long sleeved white turtleneck under it. The cape helped keep her warm. One of my favorite costumes so far! I highly recommend it.

I was looking for a costume that wasn't a really cheap Halloween material and this was a nice surprise. It is a great quality costume.

Costume is awesome, my daughter is big for her age and it was hard to find this costume in her size, and the adult womens versions are to "grown up" "sexy" but luckily I found this in a bigger size and it fits perfectly! And the material is good not cheaply made, its thick.....I'm super happy with this purchase, will look forward to next year and getting my kids costume from this shop because of the extended kids sizes.....thanks!!!

I bought this for my daughter. I figured most all costumes run small so I bought it a little bigger. It runs true to size, so whatever size your child wears in clothes, do the best to match to that size. If you buy it a little bigger, well your kids will just use it longer. The material is good material, not cheaply made at all. It's adorable and comfortable. My daughter loves. Awesome costume.

This costume is well-made and has lovely details. The fit is big, however, so I would recommend buying an X-Small for any child younger than 4. I bought the Small size based on feedback in these reviews and it was too big for my 3 year old. She is on the tall side for her age but the skirt almost reached to her ankles. Otherwise, I'm happy with the quality of the costume, however, so I have ordered an X-Small size for her.

I bought this costume in xs last Halloween for my daughter who was almost 3 at that time (clothes size 3T). The skirt was at her ankle length when she first got it, but she was able to walk around just fine.My daughter loves this costume a lot because it looks just like the dress the Red Riding Hood wears in her book. She has worn it for fun from time to time.Unlike most other costumes, this one holds wash very well. I machine wash it in cold water and dry it in medium heat. After a year of occasionally use, I haven't seen any noticeable wear and tear.Now my daughter is almost 4 (clothes size 3T/4T), and this costume fits her better while still having enough room to be used for one more year. (See picture.) Although the velcro on the cape can use a better design, overall I'm happy with the purchase due to the look and quality. It indeed is a little pricey for a kid's costume, but it is well worth it considering the amount of time (maybe two years) my daughter can use it.

My daughter wore this Little Red Riding Hood costume for Halloween this year!! She wears a 3T and I ordered a XS. It was a perfect fit and she got SO many compliments!! Her little 1 year old brother was the Big Bad Wolf and together they were adorable! :) Since it was cold on Halloween in Wisconsin, we put a long sleeve shirt under the dress and she wore tights. The shirt fit fine under the dress and worked well to keep her warm. The dress is well made in comparison to some of the other costumes out there. There is a zipper in the back and the cape has a velcro closure to secure it around the neck/shoulders. The basket, socks and shoes are not included and would need to be purchased separately.

This costume is literally the cutest thing! My 6 year old daughter (she is huge so we went up a couple sizes) loves this costume and has worn it multiple times since Halloween. Her coordinated costume with her father received many compliments. I cannot comment on how well the dress portion of the costume washes but the cape has been washed several times and still looks brand new.
