Meadowmat Birds and Bees Wildflower Turf, Multi-Colour, 20m sq

I ordered this with a 1 month lead time and it arrived the next day.I’m generally pretty happy with it apart from the massive dandelion slap bang in the middle! It’s about the third of the surface area.I mean, I know we said “wildflower” but oh man... nobody wants to pay fifty quid for a dandelion, do they?I did plan on ordering more but I have decided against it.

This is an excellent product. I also bought 20 m last month to create a wildflower meadow in a central space in my garden. Now love walking though it. Really attracts butterflies and bees and is constantly changing. It is very forgiving in terms of preparation. I just dig over soil, lay, and make sure to keep well watered for a couple of weeks. Very easy to cut to fit any shape. Turf I bought two years ago for another bit of garden is still doing just as well so I can testify that it is long lasting as well.

I ordered 5m2 of this turf and yesterday a large wooden palette with precisely 4 sods of grass barely making up 1m2 was delivered on the pavement in front of my house. The driver left immediately so I was unable to check/return the product before he left. I would either like the rest of what I actually purchased to be delivered asap or a refund.

I have ordered meadowmat turf several times - for pond surround, for steep banks, under trees and wildlife garden. It never fails. This turf is thick, and dense with grass and flowers. The important thing with this turf, as per the Sellers’ advice on the Amazon listing, is to lay it immediately, within 8 hours of receiving it, and to keep it very well watered. The grass and flowers come out best the following year after the turf has grown in. But it still looks great especially after about the first three weeks. Terrific turf if you have wildlife gardens or ponds where you need strong beautiful blowing grasses to hold the soil so it doesn't wash into the pond.

This is lush turf and even arrived with a few lovely beetles! Only had it a week and watering in well. Clover looking perky and grasses already reaching up. I can’t wait for spring. It looks like I laid a plush carpet down.Be warned that it arrives quickly so missed the delivery the first time as no slot given like other companies.Update photo 4 weeks in and very happy

Only bought this for my garden and was not very press with it at all

Arrived 4 days early and in good condition. Had it layed and watered within 2 hours. Plants already perking up. Really thick layer of grasses and various plants. Can’t say what flowers as its too early to tell. Only expecting flowers next season as I ordered this end of August. But very happy with this turf. Update in summer, wide variety of glowers, very pleased with my turf
