Single Metal d20 Die in Brushed Aluminum Finish by DnD Dice

First things first, this die is really, really heavy. It makes a lot of noise when rolled, and while I totally expected that part when purchasing the product, there was also the small problem of it actually damaging the things I rolled it on.The provided picture of the product is pretty accurate to what I got in the mail, however mine was a little worse for wear with some of the edges being heavily sanded while the others being hardly sanded at all, and there was also the chipped up vertices of the die. I was surprised just how damaged the product was when I received it, however it rolls pretty fairly after doing some tracking of it. It appears to be correctly weighed even with the chips and scuffs.Honestly the reason someone would purchase this die is to have a loud die to scare other players with (in the case of myself, I can't wait to bring this out behind my DM screen to see my players' faces when they hear it), to be extremely durable, and to look freaking awesome. This die does all of that, but in my case there were some cosmetic problems.

I bought two of these a few weeks ago. I really like them. My only issue with them is the fact that the surface got dinged up pretty fast after rolling them a few time. Other than that they're amazing. They have a really nice heavy feel in your hand, and roll great (as long as you're not rolling on carpet or a playmat). I love to carry them around with me and just roll them around in my hands. The numbers are really clean and pretty, and the faces of the dice seem even all around (though I haven't done any checking of the balance). Overall, I love these and I would definitely buy again.

The weight and feel of this die is pretty nice, although it actually feels a little lighter than I would have expected for a solid metal die. Still it is good for a Magic the Gathering life counter, since it has enough weight not to accidentally roll itself over very easily if bumped or whatever. My main complaints are that the build quality is a little bit iffy in my opinion. I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested. Basically you can see very pronounced grinding marks on many of the edges, and the etching of the numbers and the paint is not perfect. Not bad, but not perfect. Also the numbering is not 'spin-down' style like on a MTG life counter, but instead seems basically totally randomly placed around the die, which makes it less easy to use as a life counter. Not sure why they chose to do it that way. Overall it's a nice piece, but not really worth $9 in my opinion. $5 or $6 would be a more fair price.

This is a nice die. It rolls well and seems fair enough. The description says that it's a "Brushed aluminium finish" but it's definitely not aluminum. Aluminum has a density of about 2.7g/cm3. This die has a density of about 6.3g/cm3. It's A zinc alloy.

Slightly larger than what I would consider average size, the heft of this dice gives it a great feel. At this size you don't get any smooshed or deformed numbers. The finish is more sandblasted/matte than brushed aluminum (no visible striations), but is nonetheless very finely made and beautiful to look at. One of my two favorite dice to roll.

I bought two of these dice, one for my math teaching materials, and one for one of my students. They are beautiful pieces: heavy, solid, highly polished, with clearly printed numbers.. They are a great value for the price. I will most likely be buying more of them in the future.

Really nice d20. Plan on using it for tabletop gaming and with its nice weight it can be used as a ranged weapon. Hope they have a nice reflex save. But other than that it did have some dings to the edges but it gives it character. Will buy again.

Extremely durable, high quality dice. This die is set up perfectly as a D&D ready die and has the correct numbers in the correct places. Little bit heavier than I would like but it should not deter anyone looking for a high quality, low cost metal die.
