Figured out the disassembly, nice showpiece
The sword handle got a bit loose, and I wasn't sure, but I finally figured the disassembly with some force. You have to hold the guard in hand and hold the pommel in the other and twist the pommel counterclockwise. Use some strength. The handle is made of a bunch of interlocking faux wood pieces. Little slots and nubs that slot together to keep it tight. The middle two pieces are looser to allows twisting for tightening.Once the pommel is loosened from the threaded rod, there should be secondary nut in the pommel that is holding it in place. The pommel is actually made of two pieces glued together. You need a screw driver just thin enough to fit in the gap, and slowly pry all around the gap. Work slowly and you should be able to separate the pommel with minimal damage. To reassemble, you align all the pieces of the handle to the grip, align the top half of pommel, attach the washer and nut. Get everything finger tight for now. Then you have to align the bottom half of the pommel with the top half's slot and press them together. Then you can twist clockwise to get the threads tightened back into the bottom half pommel. The sword is a rat tail tang, so definitely can't withstand impact at all. You can use as a showpiece or some light swinging but full contact, I would not trust that weld, nor would I trust that thin screw tang.Very nice looking, stainless steel looks fine for decoration piece. Good heft for swinging.

Great prop
Very cool sword that could do some damage if used improperly, so BE CAREFUL. Not too heavy, but could use a better way to attach it to your belt.

Very Well Built Sword
I received my package and was not expecting the weight of it. I spent $45 on this to use in a Church walk through of Bethlehem and was not expecting the quality to be that great. This sword is well built and made of steel. The handle look great and the sheeve it goes in fits perfect. The sword is sent dull and the point is also dull. You should not be able to cut or poke yourself but it is heavy enough to put a knot on someone's head if you hit them. LOL. I think it is a great display piece when I am not using it for this Church walk through of Bethlehem.

Sword okay, scabbard is crap
The sword itself is fine. Looks nice and seems solid and has good weight to it. However, upon opening the package and taking it out, the scabbard completely fell into two separate pieces. It is cheap plastic that is somehow held together at the middle by an ornamental piece which no longer is holding it together. I won't return because I didn't plan on displaying the scabbard anyway, but wanted to make it clear that it was cheap and broken.
