great blending brushes, easy to clean and store.

I tried to do a French ombré with a regular nail brush and ended up with five disasters on each hand. In looking for proper tools, I saw these brushes, figured they would not work for me, but thought I'd try them out, given the reasonable price point. The photo shows my first ombré attempt using these brushes. The delineation between pink and soft white seemed to disappear right before my eyes as I blended the colors! (the effect was even better when I removed my reading glasses.) If you zoom in, you can see the little stripes left by the bristles , but they are not noticeable from a normal viewing perspective. I found that the brushes work best when drier & clean, so I alternated between the 2 brushes after a couple nails, cleaning one and let it dry while using the other. I highly recommend these and can't wait to try them with other color combinations.

You can't really mess up this order It is really not about the tools and the two techniques I hated them at first because I thought they were the problem but I just didn't truly know what I was doing

the detail brushes work just fine, but honestly the ombré brushes just don’t give the affect i was expecting. no matter how much i blend, how i do it, it is streaky to the point where i usually just have to cover it with a different color. i’ve tried even trimming the bristles to see if that helped, and it did a little but just not having the best of luck. a sponge works better for the ombré, but the detail brushes are decent quality.

These ombré brushes work pretty well! I did find that it’s imperative to wipe off the brush pretty often. If you don’t, it clumps up super easy and will ruin what you’ve already accomplished on the nail.
