Approved By The Pickiest Eater Alive
I've tried just about all the different brands of freeze dried chicken liver treats there is in the hopes of finding one that would last the longest in palatable interest to the pickiest picky eater alive that is my dog and I've finally found the one! It's a single ingredient treat (we love that for a hyper allergic dog like mine) but with how palatable these treats out regardless of how often The Pickiest Picky Eater Alive consumes them, she's never once tired of them and will do anything (will do repetitions of any command for a single piece level of fervour and excitement). So maybe it is a single ingredient treat, but if they sprinkled in their special blend of doggy crack as a dry rub or something prior to freeze drying them, I'd believe it lol. Might account for the reason why she would literally vibrate in place in her attempt to contain her anticipation of getting this treat 😂You can tell it's quality freeze dry because unlike other brands of freeze dried treats, it's not stiff like card board pulp and papier-mâché left out to bake and retains the flavour and natural smell of the original organ meat. It's wonderful that Max and Neo donates 1 for 1 item purchased. Purchasing directly from their website does offer you a better price per item especially if you buy bulk through subscription based purchases. If your very discerning pup, who might also have been an aristocrat in their past life, decides that pill pockets and pill pastes aren't good enough to take their meds with, give them the pill pocket with this freeze dried treat. Guaranteed to satisfy their inner food critic.10/5 will keep buying for as long as Max and Neo makes them!

Love this company and my dog loves their treats etc
I have been buying these direct from Max and Neo because they are my baby's favorite treats ever! I had to buy a few bags on Amazon because I needed them overnight last minute. My 15 year old baby left us a few days ago but it was so nice that his last meal was MAX AND NEO treats! He really, really loved them. They are excellent quality treats. All their stuff is great!

Doggy Treat
Purchased the chicken liver treat for our diabetic dog. This product is a lot different than the turkey heart product from the same company. These have a nasty smell and they raise his glucose levels.Still a good quality product. May be not something we can continue to use.

The only thing my dying dog was willing to eat
My 12 y/o Standard Poodle was diagnosed with terminal cancer and had lost a lot of weight. I had to ensure that every bite she ate was as delicious and nutritious as possible. I fed her Dr Marty's raw freeze dried food and liver treats, but when the liver from Dr Marty's was backordered I came to Amazon to see if there is something comparable with speedy delivery. This is how I stumbled upon Max and Neo liver treats. I liked that this brand sources from a local farm that pasture raises its chickens and cows, and that there are no preservatives or anything else added in their product.I first ordered both chicken and beef liver, but while my dog liked the beef's, she really LOVED the chicken liver! To the point that she turned her nose up to Dr. Marty's Chicken Liver bits when it finally arrived and only wanted Max and Neo's Chicken Liver!!Liver is not supposed to be the main meal but a treat, but my dog was at the very end of her life, and this was literally the only thing she would still eat. These are big chunks of liver indeed but easily cracked into smaller bites, so I don't really understand why some are complaining about the size... Sometimes I would also soak a few bites in lukewarm water for a few minutes to make the odor really come out (this basically made the dried liver into soft raw liver) and to entice my dog with zero appetite to eat a little. This trick never failed, even when she no longer accepted Dr Marty's mix, oven roasted fresh chicken breast, sardines, eggs, or any other of her previous favorites.Unfortunately, I had to return the last batch I ordered since my beloved poodle passed away, but I am convinced that these liver treats gave her enough nutrition and energy to stay with us a few extra days, and for that I am very grateful.

Good treat, not so good smell
My dog loved these, but there is a slight odor. I don't know if I would buy them again. The cost of the product isn't a value to me compared to purchasing and preparing chicken livers from the grocery store.

Big pieces and not cubed
We are going back to a brand that has in cubes. We have small dogs and this presentation is not for us.

My Kitty Loves this Treat
My dog passed a year ago but I bought every treat the company produced for her. My holistic vet stated they should be served after soaking in warm water for five minutes. He mentioned all treats should NEVER be given dry. It's very difficult on liver and cause an overload to body. I have a kitty, too, and this is her favorite treat. I break a few up and soak in small amount of warm water. I serve to her this way, while the liquid forms a yummy gravy! She is very particular in her treats but this one makes her happy.
