This is the first and only tug toy my pit mix hasn't destroyed and also loves playing with. We had gone through close to a dozen rope toys and every time he would grind his teeth and rip them within an hour. We've had this tug toy for about 3 months now and he plays with it daily. There are a few small tears in the center yellow ring (it isn't as tough as the black rings), but I think we should have a few more months left it. I'd highly recommend this for anyone else with a strong chewer.

These are an absolute powerhouse of durability and entertainment! These toys are built to withstand even the toughest play sessions, making them perfect for my active dogs. It was fun while it lasted and it got a lot of use, but it finally gave out after 6+/- months? Great tug toy. My dog is a 70# mutt with a strong bite and he's chewed through pretty much every other toy he's ever had. This one lasted longer than any of the others by quite a bit. He did zero chew damage to the tires, but the yellow tire in the middle broke at the seam. No tear, the seam just came undone at 90 degree angles. I'm going to look for something else this time but this wasn't bad considering how long it lasted and it wasn't very expensive. If I don't find anything tougher, I may purchase another one of these down the road.

I've got 2 pitbulls. They will destroy any toy in record time. This lasts the longest. It will eventually need replaced. 1 of them is a big chewer. I'd say 3-6 months lifespan with heavy abuse

This tug toy is fairly durable. It lasts us about 6-8 months, and the yellow link always breaks first due to it's the area where the seam is. We use it only for tugging and our dog does not use it as a chew toy, so mileage may vary.

I have a lab who destroys all toys usually with in hours of getting one, this toy is still going weeks later. We like to play tug with it and he likes to lay and chew on it. Well worth the money

Use it more as a play toy than a dog treat container. It is great for your dog to chew and won’t break apart easily.
