However, I was slightly disappointed that this fragrance did not smell like the original Byzance by Rochas. The original one was fairly powerful and mellowed to a gentle aroma. I assume the house of Rochas has changed the formula or this has been re-branded? The perfume itself skels fine, just nothing like the original. So anyone looking for the original scent... Forget it but enjoy the modern reformulated version. Perhaps someone from the Rochas company can explain. PS.
