Caframo Ultimate 757 12V 2-Speed 7 inch Fan - Direct Wire Black

I paid what I though was a lot for these, but I really wanted the most efficient possible fan for emergency use when we loose power. I live in the "deep south" and we lose power during strong storms somewhat regularly. For those unfamiliar with the humidity in the south, a fan is a matter of basic life support here in the summer without power, so I needed a good one! I have a very small battery backup system, basically enough for some lighting, a couple fans, chargers, radio, etc. In terms of power consumption, this performs as, or slightly better than advertised running at 12.9 volts, and moves a TON of air for such a low current draw. The fan seems really well made and durable too, and with no guard it is surprisingly quiet and is very easy to clean.

I purchased this for our RV. We only have one AC for our camper and our bedroom gets warm.This fan solved our issues! I have had it for 3 seasons now and it runs fantastic.Air flow cools our whole bedroom. Most of the time I only need to run in on low. The fan's ability to turn in any direction is one of it's best features.The fan does set directly above our heads so on high it does get a little loud but in the heat of summer it is worth it!It is a little expensive compared to other 12v fans but I don't regret buying it.

At its lowest power it pushes a lot of air, more than other caframo fans. As a result it’s relatively loud, but not out of proportion with the airflow. I’ll probably throw a PWM controller on it to have slower options.Build quality is quite good. It feels sturdy and I expect it to last.

The basics: This a 12 volts, 2 speed tilting fan. It tilts in just about any direction you can think of. I have mine wired to my 12 volt circuit on my sailboat. I mounted it on a vertical wall. The whole installation process is pretty easy stuff if you're not all thumbs.It pushes surprising amounts of air. So much so that I mostly use it in the slow speed. Very useful when cooking inside and working up a sweat.I also like the fact that the blades are safe to touch. In other words there is no cage to protect you from the fan blades but if you put your hands in there you won't get hurt. I know I've tried it :) Probably a good idea to avoid doing it on purpose as to not mess up the fan balance. The blades are flexible.Other than the sound of the wind, it's pretty silent after one year of usage. I wouldn't say completely silent (I have a ceiling fan in my bedroom that I consider completely silent) but it's discrete.

Purchased as a 12v-DC backup fan for the next time the electricity in Texas hits 114*F and the power goes out again and again when "Governor" Abbott accepts another million $ donation from ERCOT instead of repairing the state's electrical grid (vote).The fan is lightweight and provides a strong breeze while running on 12V-DC (a battery or convertor system). It's super easy to clean and it won't amputate an appendage because the blade is made of what else? = Plastic. The same plastic that has created the Great Pacific Garbage Patch where aquatic life continues to die off due to ingestion of PLASTIC.Running on a 12V-DC, RV deep cycle battery or a even a regular car battery, I'm sure it will run full blast for at least 5-8 hours before it drains a fully charged battery. If it fails early or otherwise needs an updated review, I will provide one, then. It's a bit too pricey for a 12V-DC fan - otherwise, i'd give it 5-stars, so far.

Purchased a new fishing boat this year. These have been a MUST on a hot day and give off very powerful air. Like that we can rotate them to where we want the air flowing. We purchased two and they are working great!

It is relatively quiet, looks very good (installed in on my catamaran in 2 cabins and they look great). Also worth noting that the lack of the grille is not a problem even if you touch spinning blades...

Can’t wait to try my new… umm… new… this doesn’t look a fan? Maybe some assembly required? Yes… looks like I have everything I need to use it except literally the fan itself! I’m pretty sure I need that though? So very confused.1 star for not cooling any better than a poke it the eye.

Sono degli ottimi ventilatori con delle palle in offensive che non hanno bisogno della griglia protettiva, probabilmente non hanno il design più bello del mondo ma fanno davvero molta aria di meglio c’è soltanto il modello top della marca però questo già posso assicurarvi non vi deluderà purtroppo il prezzo c’è ma si paga anche la qualità

Great product however Amazon for the second time when I really required an item on a specific date have let me down,registers as handed to resident however was nor yet dispatched ,no apology just they don’t care ,required this to fit today as was stated it should have arrived only to be told it will be Friday ,last item was required for an important job and arrived a week late .Have used the Caframo fans for years and this is my second purchase of one this year for my van ,quiet efficient and well made although a tad expensive they are truly reliable kit ,would highly reccomend. Amazon however is taking their eye off the ball considerably when it comes to both customer service and delivery .
