the plastic cover fit the oversize chair nicely, wipes clean easily, but is a bit thinner vinyl than what i expected, but still fairly good quality. it keeps my cats from trying to knead on the chair.

Worked for awhile but is all torn up. That might be because it never fit right on my easy chair. Maybe it will fit on yours. I don't know. I had better luck with the one that I bought for a different chair. That one is still on there. I bought this to keep cats from tearing things up. They saw this as a challenge, and tore up the one on my easy chair, anyway. The other one has been pretty much left alone. Be prepared for your cats to go up underneath the plastic, and lay down on the fabric of the chair anyway, immersing themselves into a little plastic bubble. Hopefully they will have enough air in there. As soon as you put the plastic on top, they will say to themselves - challenge accepted. I think the reason why the cover on my other chair survived, is because I put a blanket in the chair, which gave them a soft place to lay down - without them having to go under the plastic. If you use this product, make sure that you combine it with cat psychology.

It fits the recliner beautifully, is easy to put on, and seems to be doing a good job of keeping my cats from shredding the new recliner. I sometimes take it off when I sit in the recliner and watch tv, but I keep it on if I'm eating because inevitably I drop or spill something, and this cover is easy to clean.I spent a long time deciding on the color when I bought the recliner, and the clear plastic allows people to see the beautiful fabric.A good investment. I'd tried another cover, but it was not as well-made as this one and was not form-fitting so was difficult to put on. So glad I discovered this one.
