Quality red dot for the price. I don't need a closed emitter, I'm not going to be using this red dot in adverse conditions. Mostly the range and in my nightstand gun safe. The glass is clear with no tint to it like some other red dots. Auto brightness is probably going to be too dim but it can be deactivated. It's a feature I never needed so I don't care about that. The build quality is great, fit and finish look good and zeroing was simple and easy with the provided tool. My first holosun but it won't be my last after this experience! I have a couple cheaper red dots that are well known value brands but this one is definitely worth a little extra.

In my rigorous search for a highly reliable optic, I carefully compared several options before ultimately selecting this model. I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The green dot stands out for its exceptional clarity and functionality. It remains perfectly centered without any drift and maintains an impressive brightness that is highly visible even in direct, glaring sunlight. It has held its zero consistently through heavy and repetitive use, demonstrating excellent durability and reliability. As long as you understand this is a 2 MOA dot you should be happy. I debated about getting the 407 or 507 and decided on the 407 and the dot is pretty small. Which is great for accuracy, not as great for ease of acquiring the dot if you’re not used to one. But with practice it definitely gets easier. Still, a 6 MOA dot would be much faster for someone new to red dots I think. But as far as quality and reliability, I haven’t had it long, but so far so good. I’m happy with it.

Great buy and it stays zero! I have several 407 and 507 c dots in red and green. Have them on my shadow 2 and Kimber 2k11 and sig Saur legions. These are great sights and priced under Trijicon but just as good...

Excellent product

Easy to adjust windage and elevation. Fits on rmr cut slides. Comes in green or red, I chose green. Definitely recommend picking up a torque screwdriver to install it. Has many brightness settings and took me 5 minutes to install. I am a fan of the solar panel feature and side battery tray, also comes with extra mounting screws and a tool for the screws and adjustment.

Definitely worth the money, only wish it had the solar charger on it like the 507.

I got this item and initially started a return as it would seem to not turn on. PLEASE NOTE The way this sight is designed, it does not work well at all under household LED lights! The lights mess with the sensor/solar panel on top and recognize as NV mode and you will not see the dot. Try old school light or sunlight before you assume its junk like I did. Works great under everything but LED
