Just what I needed.

Replaced the stock fan in our camper with the Hike Crew. Pleasantly surprised by the ease of install. Immediately made a difference in the air flow and temperature in our camper. Very pleased! Recommend for campers or can lifers. With air pulling in on the bed side and pushing out in the bathroom we have great air movement.

This fan works as advertised. Installation was "OK". It does fit , but lower trim is made for a smaller opening with thinner rafters than my Sabre 36BHQ. I was just barely able to grab enough wood to hold the trim screws in place. The trim also does not quite reach the fan body. The blue wire must be hooked to B+. It says Brake for whatever reason (Yeah let me run a wire down to the pin-box ;-) ). Red is B+, Black is B-. There is a lot to like about this fan, multi reversible speed, motorized cover. The remote is useful if you have tall ceilings, however it is infrared, so it must be in line of sight to the fan itself. Suggestion for improvement would be rf remote so you could be in the kitchen to turn this on. & how on earth do you stop the strobing of the LED? It seems as bright as an aircraft strobe at 3am. Really this thing is a good buy! Edit 12/11/2020. After living with this fan some things are worth mentioning. Rain sensor works fine, LED & Strobing is ANNOYING. Have both power wires wired to the wall switch, turn the switch off to kill the strobe (also won't close if up & raining). Biggest concern is the screen IS NOT easily removeable. If you don't put a cover over this thing you will be on your roof incessantly cleaning out the leaves. Still a good value.

Best upgrade to your trailer that you can do. I live In my through the summer for work. And I have not needed to run my AC. The amount of air that it moves is amazing. You can reverse itI have two of them. one pushing air in and one pulling air out.

Bought this fan as a replacement?upgrade for a vent on our toy hauler.What I liked about this unit was that it was 3 speed and reversible.The problems are several. First, Hike Crew gets a 100% "F" for customer service. I have repeatedly called their customer service number and each time got the voice mail. I left messages, but i have not heard back from them. I have also emailed them several times and the response has been the same. No response.The Fan. It would have been easy to install, but the interior trim bezel is to skinny in width for my rig. The trim bezel is only 3 inches wide and I need it to be 6. Ok, if I erred when I ordered thats not Hike Crew's fault, it's mine. I was initially trying to contact Hike Crew to see if I could buy from them a trim bezel that would work for me. As noted above I have not been able to connect with them in any fashon. Fan speeds?Hard to differentiate fan speeds. Speed 1 seems as fast as speed 3. It's very quiet...because the fan speed is so slow.I purchased because of the features, specifically the forward and reverse modes.Because Hike Crew won't respond to me, nor does the fan seem to operate as advertised, I will be returning it to the manufacturer and purchasing from another company.Save yourself the headache. Stay away from this manufacturer. Questionable product, absolutely terrible customer service.

I was replacing a non remote fan because my wife couldn't reach it to change speeds or turn it on. This fan was easy to install and works great. I did not use the rainsensor feature because I have it covered with Max vent.

The install was super easy and it works great. It really helps move the air around. The rain detector also works perfectly. We’ve been having sporadic rain and I never remember to close it but we’ve had no issue with it closing itself.

I had this sitting around for a while and finally installed it after a couple of years. I find that it seems to work well in general. However the biggest problem with this fan is that there is no visual indicators as to what mood it's in. There is no visual indicator as to whether it is in the temperature control mode or not, or what the temperature level is at any given time. There is no indication as to the fan speed level and no indicator whether it is in the blowing out mode or blowing in mode. These are not necessarily deal breakers, but I think they are important enough. Right now, the fan is beeping and the manual has no information as to what the beeping means. These are very annoying issues. I do not recommend this fan.
