I bought this on suggestion of my GP as the wrist BP machine i bought was giving false and misleading readings, whereas this is giving more accurate readings (it's nearer the GP's classic/manual method of stethoscope with the pressure pump blood pressure cuff which they swear by). Easy to set up, you can connect Bluetooth easy as downloading the app, sign into Google account, and press down the 2 buttons on the machine to put it into discovery mode. It logs each reading to my mobile phone via Bluetooth, uses traffic light code to indicate your BP range, and there's even a switch option if someone else needs to check their BP too without their result going onto your readings, and it has a larger cuff option too if you have thicker arms like myself.It might cost a fair bit more than most, but 110% worth it for accuracy and reliability. I should have bought this one in the 1st place and saved myself the hassle and stress when I had record my BP readings for a week for the GP.

It looks nice, feels nice, measures OK.Pros:- Fancy design -- I like the look- Measures with pressure going up -- does not over-pressure your arm, it is really nice feel- Display is backlit, so it's easy to use it in the evening- Looks like the values are correctCons:- Clock cannot be switched to 24 mode which is ridiculous; even its own included manual shows 24h mode- Display is not so bright, so I need to concentrate to read it during the day. For comparison, cheap IKEA food scale display is like 3x brighter- It is a complete puzzle how one should store it in the provided pouch. Probably I have guessed it right -- in the stand-up position, showed to the side, with the cuff lying diagonally on the display. However it is not that obvious.With the thing of that innovative design Braun could think of some recommendations, or the similarly non-standard pouch. Well, they also could fix the ansence of 24 mode on which people were contactim them. as I see, from year 2016...

I’m a retired doctor and have been monitoring my treated hypertension for many years using a variety on monitors, all of which eventually need replacing. This monitor is not intended for professional use but works faultlessly for self home monitoring. It is easy to use, comfortable and (so far) appears to give consistent reliable readings with the expected fluctuations of blood pressure. It meets the European Hypertension Society guidelines and can average the results over 3 consecutive measurements at different times of the day. It also detects irregular fluctuations in heart rhythm but can’t distinguish harmless fluctuations from Atrial Fibrillation. The instructions do however advise the user to seek further medical assessment if repeated episodes are detected. Results can easily, and automatically, be recorded on a smart phone to be presented to your GP if necessary.Altogether an inexpensive, easy to use and flexible machine. If it proves to be reliable over a prolonged period of time it will will be an excellent choice.

Great product, clear display, memory function is really useful

Good quality, as you would expect from BraunIt is easy to use, the display easy to read and has a colour-coded scale to indicate whether your blood pressure is Good, OK but could do better, warning and "you might probably die if you don't get some anti-hypertensives down you"Two cuffs are supplied so if your upper arm is larger in circumference than a broom handle, you will need the bigger of the two (which some other monitors are not supplied with).There does seem to a be a process to operate, which is if you want to take a second reading, you will most likely need to switch off the machine and start again, but not a big problem really.
