I adopt, tame and give away baby budgies as a bit of a hobby.Many of them will have mites from wherever they were bred or from the pet shop, but they only start to become obvious weeks or months later when they form scales on legs and beaks.Until now I have always relied on an ointment, which works well but involved catching the bird and painting it onto it's face and legs.As you can imagine, this doesn't help when trying to gain it's trust and tame it.This stuff you spray on their back at arms length, they barely notice. I'm going to do this routinely for all budgies that pass through my house to keep mites at bay.Recommended.

The bird hates this. It has a strong smell that lingers.
