This is a great test bench power supply
If you're like me and need to test motherboards that don't require a lot of power draw, this is an excellent power supply for your workbench. This will power most motherboards with a few peripherals. It's small, has extremely clean and accurate power delivery and can be powered from my bench power supply or from a wall adapter. Personally, I power it from my bench power supply. This was a great purchase that I've recommended to friends.

no electrolytic capacitors means it'll probably last a very long time.
I purchased this to build a new power-supply for my 31 year-old Macintosh LC III. I specifically selected this unit because it has no electrolytic capacitors, whereas several other Pico supplies do. You see, the very reason I had to purchase this power supply is because, after 31 years, the electrolytic capacitors in my Mac's old one had exploded and leaked electrolyte all over the place. To the extent possible, I want to limit my antique electronics to use tantalum capacitors, so they will outlive me, and last a lifetime, as they almost already have.

Watch the input wiring!
Great so far BUT the input wires cause a lot of voltage drop. I was seeing 10.3v at the motherboard running prime95 with a 65w cpu and the wires were hot after only a couple minutes. I replaced the 16-18awg wires with true 14awg by soldering and heat shrinking to the original connectors. With this mod its perfect, maintaining 11.8v, well within ATX specs. Engineer by trade.

Asrock 3700-itx
Its working so far, I am using it with this itx motherboard that is really low powered, the power supply I am using it a 6 amp and it seems to feed the base clock on the processor. CPU doesn't boost up to its max and I believe is due to the power brick so I bought a new power brick , 10 amps since that would be more than enough for this low powered board. I happy with this ATX psu let see how long does it last.. The build is being used as Opnsense Firewall.. Regards!

Iffy and confusing to me
This product design is perfect I just don't know about this one. it did not come with directions. It seemed to require another part to power it. If they were a little more clear and had instructions I would rate the product a 3 in quality. The confusion part for a 1st timer I would give it 1 star.

Perfect for a small setup.
Very small design, works perfectly for mini PCs that don't need a ton of power

The connections are on the wrong side.
If you look at the product photos, the connections to CPU power and the 12 volt input line are on the same side as the clip. This is important so as not to interfere with your components on the motherboard. However, in the product I got (pictured) those connections jut into the motherboard and interfere with the RAM. I took some clippers and shaved down the plastic on the connections, and hot glued them in place to make it fit. Nobody should have to do this.
