It’s like clumps of gunk rather than chalk and it stains EVERYTHING. Saw a smudge on carpet and managed to get it out in time but it stains, skin, clothes, sinks, towels, hairbrushes. Have to apply lots to the hair to get any colour effect and now we’re just really hoping it washes out because I’ve got a red 9 year old and a purple 11 year old.

Ordered for daughter who of course wants multicoloured hair. Have to wet hair to use and hair goes incredibly stringy and knotty, found it impossible to comb through hair normally once these were used.

Hideous stuff bought for world book day. Not chalk but like a solid grease block. Still staining stuff, and kids hair still coloured, after 6 shampoo washes. This stuff stained hair, the shower, towels, bedclothes, clothes and my child even after 6 washes. It has staying power! Do not use unless you want a permanent Smurf.

Clumped on in places and had to actually brush hair after applying, even though it says not to, just to make hair look less greasy and not all stuck together. Daughter loved the colours and was super impressed they stayed all day whilst at a school for fancy dress, however it’s also stayed a lot longer too as it’s stained her hair! She’s washed her hair 4 times now and there’s still colour in the hair. Wouldn’t advise anyone buying them if you don’t want your hair dyed after using them.
