It had everything I needed to get started. Order your control test kit to test before you start using. The Bluetooth connectivity doesn't work, but the meter is still excellent. The size is average compared to others and the glucose readings are accurate. The app is handy, you just open it and press log and just enter the number from your reading, it records the time and everything. Won't even have to do that if the Bluetooth works for you!

This is one of only 6 glucose monitors that is 95% accurate, or better, with a margin of error of15% or less, in the Diabetic Glucose Range of measurements (120 - 180 mg/dl ) All other meters only meet this standard in the Normal Glucose Range of (70 - 120 mg/dl). The most accurate in the Diabetic Range is the Contour Next ONE, with a rating of 99% accurate with only a 7% margin of error.

I bought this several years ago. It is small . The machine fits on the top of the test strip bottle. It has never let e down. I bought a second one for convenience. Easy to use and read. like that I can recharge it. It's economical compared to others.

Bluetooth won't connect well. App just crashes.Update: It took several attempts, but finally was able to get it to connect. It seems to be working for now, but still leaves much to be desired in support. Make sure to find the correct pin number on the device before attempting to pair. I put the wrong number at first, which caused it to crash. I had to delete the app and re-install 4 or 5 times before I was successful.

Bought this instructions were real easy and downloading site to upload your results in case your doctor wanted to see them is great and app is free which makes it nice.

Easy to use, even for first timers like myself. The Bluetooth option is very nice as it remembers your readings if you forget to sync right after you finish getting your reading. So, you will have them all sync the next time you open the app and refresh. The app itself has some options that really I can care less, but the fact that you don't have to manually input your results is a plus for me. Overall, nice little reader.

**I finished off the 100 test strips today.I am left having no confidence in the meter readings. I have followed the directions on prepping my hands for lacing. I have followed the directions for control solution use and the readings are all over the place. It doesn’t matter if I eat anything or not. There’s a 75% chance that the meter reading will be too low after I eat or too high if I don’t.Pick a different brand if you need consistencyI purchased this meter to replace a meter that is 10 years old and was not tracking my blood glucose correctly.As of today I’ve gone through 60 test strips. The first 10 that you get with the meter itself and 50 of the 100 you get as a bonus piece.The first 10 seemed to attract my blood pretty regular and consistent. When I moved into the other strips all of a sudden my readings were getting chaotic. I’m talking swings from like 177 down to 114 within three minutes of taking the measurement.That example is the extreme but I still have wild swings between different hands and fingers.Once I took three readings two minutes apart for each and the range was from 177 to 143I also had a reading show up as 65 which I have never in my life been that low.Stomach change out a test strip pack I do a control test and within the margin of error when I do the test.Bottom line here is that I have no faith in its consistency that I’m getting the correct readings. I understand there’s gonna be some variation just like with taking your blood pressure but it’s consistently off as high as 30 points in its swings between readings in a short period of time.This could be a test strip issue or it could be the meter issue.All I know is I’m thinking about returning it or throwing it away and starting over with a different brand.
