Game-Changer for Food Storage!
We put off getting a vacuum sealer for way too long—one of those things we talked about but never actually bought. Now that we finally have one, I can’t believe we waited this long. After using it to store a bunch of steaks we grabbed on sale, I’m sold—we’ll always have a vacuum sealer from now on.This model in particular is simple and super easy to use, which made the whole process even better. The seal is tight, it works quickly, and the results are awesome. Everything stays fresh, and freezer burn is no longer a worry. It’s already saving us money and making bulk buying way more practical. If you’re on the fence, don’t wait like we did—it’s totally worth it!

Great product-would by another when needed
We only bought this one because our other one was dying after 20 years. This one is more quiet, but works just as well.

Probably the best option in the price range.
If you're on the fence about a vacuum sealer, you probably won't regret buying one. If you have a family to feed and want to save money buy buying meat and veggies in bulk and freeze, this one will pay for itself in just a few weeks. Even if you decide on spending a little more on a different one, you should get one regardless. This one in particular is a decent "cheap" sealer. For the money, it works great. Some reviews say it stops working, mine works fine after 2 years. I did give it 4 stars because it does struggle sometimes to seal moist foods but if you switch to the dry setting while leaving the lid latched and press seal again and just let is go for 4-5 seconds more, it seems to work fine. Also, clean your sealer strip. It helps, as when it gets dirty (and it will) it doesn't make contact as well. Overall, it's affordable, fast, easy to store, easy to use, and even if SOMETIMES you'll have to do it over to seal, it's still well worth the money. You could pay a lot more and still have issues. If mine were to break today, I'd buy another one tomorrow.

Love the small footprint
This vacuum sealer stands up on the back, taking up very little counter space so it "lives" there. That makes it easier to access so it is used more frequently by us. Even though it is smaller in size, the vacuum is not wimpy. Does just as well as our previous device. I would definitely recommend this vacuum sealer.

Easy Sealing Food Saver
Best Food Saver I have ever purchased. As I use the premade food server bags, there are only three easy steps to do. I love the size so easy to store. I would recommend this product.

FoodSaver
I like it! It replaced my old Ziploc vacuum sealer that I had for years that finally stopped working. So far I’m happy with this new one. It’s easy to use.. in fact it works like the old one so there wasn’t a new learning curve. It is a bit longer but that is ok.

Foods last longer!
I’m very satisfied with it. So easy to use. Been vacuum sealing my tossed salads for prepped meals. Now I just grab one from my fridge to eat or take one to work in my cooler bag.

It works as well as my old one, but ...
I have had a Foodsaver for about a decade, but my old one finally died. Being an inquisitive engineer, I took it apart to see if I could fix it. I looked for quite a while and finally found a piece of broken plastic. It was too small to try to repair, and any kind of repair I tried would involve glue, and it probably wouldn't last because the assembly involved, by design, is subjected to a great deal of shear force. It was a poor design in my engineering opinion, as a part like that should have been metal.I shopped on Amazon for a new one and found one similar to my old one but it was over $200. The smaller one that I purchased was only about $100 and it performs perfectly. That is it sucks all the air out of the bag and seals it without any leaks. My old unit had a built-in sliding blade to cut a section from rolled bag material. I was very handy to have it right there on the unit. This new small unit does not have such a convenient feature. You have to use a scissors. Another thing I miss is the locking mechanism on the old unit. It had an easy to turn lever that one turns to lock the lid in place to hold the open end of the bag in place. On the new small Foodsaver, there is a latch on each side of the unit. You put the bag in place, lower the top, then push down very hard on one side then the other until you hear a click indicating that this side you're pushing on is latched. Again, the amount of force required to lock each side is very significant. I measured it and it was around 15-16 pounds force. It may seem like I'm complaining a lot and don't like my purchase. Not so! I miss the slicer and the easy to use locking mechanism of the old, larger unit, but I'm strong enough to operate the latches and I keep a scissors by the unit. More good news is that it's smaller and more attractive than my old Foodsaver. My wife appreciates that, and a white Foodsaver blends in with our kitchen better than the old black one. Individuals with lesser strength might have a problem with the latches, but the good news is that Amazon cheerfully refunds the cost of returned purchases. Save the box and packing materials until you've used it for a while.
