High quality tool!
Very impressed with the quality. I work for a Bobcat dealer and we all share this tool. 6months in and it still cuts through steel straps like its plastic. Much better than expected! Keep the tension on the pivot bolt and it will last forever. It does have a locking nut. I only had to tighten a tiny bit after the paint wore down in-between the two halfs as the tool was broken in. Handles grips are not the kind that will slip off or move. In short this gets all day use for six months and a small child could still cut steel straps easily.

Works awesome does what it should do
Strong, easy to cut thick metal - I use it for cutting the levers on arcade micro-switches for my custom arcade sticks. I was using a dremel with a metal wheel and that was taking too long and was dangerous - this was so simple to use. Thank you!

Works great.
These work great and are much cheaper than some other brands. The grip is a little rougher on your hands but they cut well.

Perfect
My girlfriend started a new job as a packager at a steel stamping plant. Two days in she was complying that her hands were hurting. I asked why, she told me that the company was making her use tin snips to cut 1and1/4 inch wide steel banding. WHAT? So I bought this for her, drilled two holes near the jaws so she could secure them with a lock and a small piece of chain. She said they make her job much easier and her hands no longer hurt. What company doesn’t buy their employees the proper equipment to do the job? Apparently this one.

These are great. Sharp, sturdy and best of all they are bright yellow so my guys don't lose them quite as often. No complaints!

This is the right tool if you need to cut steel strapping
I have seen so many super expensive steel strapping cutting tool and this one can do the exactly same work at a much friendly price. Very easy to use and cut steel strapping as paper, worth it.

Identical to U-Line, but way cheaper!
I bought these strapping shears to replace the worn out old shears at work that we used for our steel strapping. These shears work really well and the rubberized handles help reduce slipping. The price for these shears also can't be beat, since they are identical to the branded ones U-Line sells, but are $22 cheaper and Amazon offers free shipping, while U-Line's shipping charges an additional $16 on top of their shears that are already more expensive.

Works well for my light duty use, not sure ...
Works well for my light duty use, not sure how long it would last if used daily for HD work.
