Got this for a gift for a friends 9yr old birthday and they really liked it. Was told they put it together with a little help and had a lot fun trying to pick things up. Seems good quality and I like the STEAM aspect of the toy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 8 year old son built this all on his own! He was so impressed and absolutely loved the outcome!

Here’s the deal. My son begged for this thing and it was a “top” Christmas gift. It’s now been 6 months and we have still yet to do it. The instructions are lengthy and requires tools and time that we just haven’t dedicated to it yet. It all seems to be high quality but don’t think it’s something you just pop open and do.For a child who really loves science and robotics, understands patience, and is willing to dedicate some time.. this is great.

This is an amazing project. Grandchildren ages 8, 13, 14 had a blast constructing this Cyborg Hand! Highly recommend!!

A gift for my grandson, he loves it. My son said it was a little more than putting Legos together, lol, took a couple of hours but worth it in the end

So many good things to say about this.#1 - Over and above product support. We lost two of the screws in the kit (as you do). Reached out, expecting little help and lots of shipping fees. Nope. Immediately they responded that they are shipping parts to us for free.#2 - Actually very cool product. It’s fun to build, comes with bonus (fun but educational) content about how hydraulics work (that our son actually read and enjoyed).He loved building it and has been picking up EVERYTHING with his cyborg hand.He’s twelve and loves video games but this kept his interest over weeks of building and playing.Big win.

Not only is this thing cleverly engineered and fun to build (albeit moderately complex) but I destroyed some foam stickers after assembling it wrong and the seller sent me a free replacement for in about a week. My 7-year-old grandson and I spend about an hour a week assembling it and we're almost done. He said to me one time, "I really enjoy building the mega cyborg hand with you, grandpa." Score! When it's done, we'll need to get another project from this company.

The concept is excellent! My 10 year old daughter was able to put it all together in about 12 hours. She loved it! However as soon as it was finished and she tried it out, there were 2 small plastic pieces that broke. And it makes the whole hand not work properly.
